Season 1 : Pilot (come with me if you're wanna live /// what model are you ? you look different - I am)
Season 1 : Vick's chip (John touching Cameron's hair after replacing the chip)
Season 1 : the episode where Cameron is dancing (well done Summer...)
Season 1 : the last episode, with the gift Derek gives to John...

Season 2 : Samson & Delilah (simply the best, thanks to thomas and summer perfect acting and thanks to the superb dialogues - you have to understand it wasn't me)
Season 2: Allison from Palmdale (nice to see Summer playing a real human...this episode also managed to give us a perfect mix between future and present times).
Season 2: Mr Ferguson is ill today (the bed scene... Cameron trying to seduce John ... simply amasing... and the "we use to talk a lot about it - We do ? - We do... We will"

OK, I admit it, I love them all, but my favourite is clearly Samson & Delilah (clearly the one with the more Can-John interactions and clearly the one from which so many emotions went out - nearly cried with the "i ran a test" scene.

A lot of people think you need explosions and fights to move an 'action' plot forward. But if that's all you have you end up like those manga movies where you want some dialogue but instead you get another fight.
With the whole Terminator concept, it's all about fleshing out a world, filling in the background (its like any fantasy like Star Wars or Lord Of The Rings). And I think the best way to fill out this context is not particularly with monumental battles, but with in-depth characters and their stories.
So - while episodes like the visit to the psychologist, Alison from Palmdale, Charlie Fisher, or Self Made Man with Cameron and Eric - don't deliver with action, they are very rewarding with characterisation. Which you need.
For me at this stage of TSCC, my interest is not only 'are they going to stop Skynet?' (of course I hope they do), but it's got me wondering about artificial intelligence, and I'm fascinated by Cameron. And it's explored time travel brilliantly. For me these are the differences between it being a dumb action show and something really special.
But having said that the plot does have to get there in the end, and they'll need to develop the Weaver/Ellison/John Henry thing soonish because it's dragging on and stopping them exploring other aspects of this briliant science fiction concept.

"Season 1: Gnothi Seauton & Heavy Metal

Since I got a neg on this one I will elaborate on my choices.

Gnothi Seauton: I think it was the most philosophical episode about Sarah.

Heavy Metal: imo it showed the feral love Sarah has for her son and how his destiny dictates her life

Mr. Ferguson Is Ill Today: the scene where Sarah went mental on the chip... I cried because it was very symbolic.

Strange Things Happen At The One Two Point: Sarah's slowly losing it, and yes I did enjoy her beating up Akagi.

If the neg was out of vendetta, buy a ticket and get in line.
