She didn't kill James Ellison even though she knew he was lying and hiding the truth, because John told her to stop. She could kill everyone at first opportunity, but she doesn't. Cameron has stated her opinion of Riley to John but he doesn't care. As soon as Riley tried to hurt/kill John, I'm sure Riley'd be dead no matter what John wanted. I'm not sure if her programming lets her kill Riley just because she's crazy and a security threat just yet, but if John gets in any more danger becuase of Riley, maybe she just disappears and John never finds out what happens to her. We might have to settle for Cam sticking a gun in Riley's mouth and warning her that if she ever shows her face in LA again, then she will be killed in every way that it's possible to be killed.
