Has This show turned you into a geek?

Before this show I was some what a geek i mean I enjoyed tv shows (Heroes, Grey's Anatomy, Firefly). but i never went to fourms and posted or laughed at inside jokes from the show in everyday life. so........ the question is has T:SCC turned you into the geek you thought you never would be. (Not that there is anything wrong with that)

I've been a geek for as long as I can remember. It was Star Trek the original series that did me over.

Luckily I'm very good at hiding my budding geekiness from the people that know me.....but for how long? :D Do you find this valuable? |

Yes. And every time someone calls T's robots at work I'm getting irritated and I remind them that they are cyborgs. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I have my phases of geekiness. Every once in a blue moon I'll really get behind a show and talk about it non-stop... then it fizzles out and I barely watch any TV. And then boom, it's back now with Terminator and my family and friends roll their eyes because I'm bringing some Terminator thing up AGAIN.. but they're used to it, because I've done so with other fandoms randomly throughout the past.

Auctually, I'm just getting out of my geekiness (I was my elemetary school's tech support) (And I wasted 1.5 years of my life on runescape) This is a heck lot less geekier than most the things I've done and spent time doing.

This show has made me less of a geek, and more of a little old lady fussing and gossiping over that nice young man Johnny and that girl he's been seeing... I much prefer his previous girlfriend, she seemed so sweet and gentle, wouldn't hurt a fly...

I have always been drawn to Sci/Fi shows my whole life. Getting a Terminator show was awesomely unbelievable when I heard it announced. I have watched every Trek series, Lost in Space, Space 1999, the original BSG and the re imagined, Land of the Giants, Sliders, Some others. I think we are nicer people!

I have always been into computer games and overall computers and game consoles, but I've never been a special fan of the sci-fi genre, and I'm still not (only TSCC). I don't have any more knowledge about Star Trek or Star Wars than the average other guy.However, this show has made me join a forum like this one for the first time in my life, and since then, I've been around here very quite frequently. It's still the only one I'm a member of. Do you find this valuable? |

My first message board was for LOSTNow I am there, here, and on BSG Although I watch other sci fi shows like Fringe. I have no interest in going to its message board for some reason. Do you find this valuable? |
