"Why don't have wireless internet hacking abilities. Oops"Like your toaster... ;) Roger1000: "Cam is a really toaster" I consider this phrase offensive language! Cameron is a Cyborg, not your toaster! Please, to apologize! 1 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you asking why they don't have a built wireless network card? My guess would be there their aren't many wireless networks in the future, and Skynet sends these T's to different periods in time, most of which wouldn't have wireless hotspots.

He means that the lack of wireless doesn't make sense. It is incongruent with what he would think a Skynet like entity would include in a terminator like robot.

Because it works two ways. You can also trace them through wireless networking. No firewall is hackproof.

Perhaps the Terminators are equipped with some kind of wireless communication device, IIRC they've never shown us how Terminators communicate with one another in fact whenever we have seen 2 of them together they just stare at each other.

I've just been watching the Series 1 Ep 1 blockbuster - it's such a great episode, it's as good as any action movie going. But - a couple of 'incongruities' with later eps - eg * Cameron's eyes flash blue, and Cromaties flash red - that doesn't happen anymore. * Cromatie touches Sarah and then can impersonate his voice - something lifted from T1 and T2 - why is this party trick never used any more - there's countless times it could be. For some reason Cam didn't use it in S&D. Instead she tried to get Sarah to call John. Of course, she was pretty damaged; maybe she couldn't?

"For some reason Cam didn't use it in S&D. Instead she tried to get Sarah to call John. Of course, she was pretty damaged; maybe she couldn't?"The liquid terminator did the same thing in T2, when it was clearly obvious it could imitate anybody. Do you find this valuable? |

The T-1000 when in that scenario was damaged to the point that it's mimetic poly-alloy was failing. There's a couple of bits which are shown in the directors cut, including his hand getting stuck momentarily whilst adapting to a handrail and also his legs were camouflaging with the floor when they shouldn't have been. As JMHthe3rd suggested, maybe Cameron was too damaged to imitate Sarah at that moment.

"I apologize what I meant to say is that she is toasty hot complicated flawed piece of Metal. She has John Issues, she knows a lot more about future issues than she reveals. She runs secret missions that she never debriefs the Connors on. Incongruities are a media term where the plot goes off on a tangent or departs from the "Mythology". Visually it can happen when her shirt is the wrong color or a wound moves from the right hand to the left hand. Also Toaster is a Battlestar Galactic term that refers to human form Cylons. Now those are some hot cyborgs that are not Metal. Early on Cameron couldn't go through the school metal detectors because of her endo-skeleton. As for the lack of bluetooth or cellular interface capacity in Cameron and other terminators, I imagine that it is something the writers have intentionally avoided. Of course she can't find a bestbuy with any off the shelf toaster parts. Do you find this valuable? |

"Cameron's eyes also glow in Dungeons and Dragons"Are Cameron's glowing blue eyes a result of something future John did to her? Are the glowing blue eyes used as an indicator that a terminator has been reprogrammed? Or are the blue eyes an advancement made by skynet, an improvement of some sort over a T-888?
