RE: MTV Gets Detailed Look at T4 Jan 13 2009, 2:35 PM EST The one overall arching theme that is becoming clear as more T4 footage, and analysis of McG's direction come out is that the movie is living up to expectations. Critics don't appear to be disappointed with what they have seen so far of movie and McG. The movie appears to be winner so far. McG may have pulled it off. Thank God!! OT - Given that Halcyon owns both TSCC and new Terminator 4-6 mythology, I predict many surprises (little gems for the fans) that will tie it all together. I would be looking to see if Summer has signed any contracts for T5 since it has already been green-lighted. I just don't see Halcyon passing on Summer's popularity with the fans. " Summer as signed with Endeavor Talent Agency back in November. This is the same agency as Christian Bale. Coincidence? I think not. You are correct about Halcyon and where the T-franchise is going. I expect Summer to appear in T5 and T6. By that time TSCC will have ended its run assuming ratings go up after T4 is released. I know all about the time differences but heck this is the movies and time travel can fix or unfix things to make it plausible. Looking forward to T4 and I will see it opening night. T4 will cover the years 2018 to 2019 T5 will cover the years 2025-2027 (Cameron sent back in 2027) T6 will cover the years 2027-2029 (Skynet's defeat) Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Hopefully ratings go up for the back 9, T4 kicks ass, and maybe we'll get a season 3. I think Season 2 DVD sales on the tail end of Terminator Salvation. Since Season 1 was released on DVD August 19th, 2008, we can safety assume that Season 2 will share the release date. In all hopefullness, the Season 2 DVD sales impress sufficiently that a Season 3 is ordered, perhaps as a mid-season addition. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

"...silly, snoozer of a TV show..." - obviously speaking without seeing it. I am very excited about T4. I actually think that there will be a Series 3 of TSCC because a whole new audience will want more Terminator stuff. Expect to see the writers cater for this new audience in S3 - eg - tie-ing in the plots a bit more - and more barren dustiness!! Post reply Do you find this valuable?

I think a movie like Terminator will put Summer on the "A" list (whatever that is), and will actually boost her career and give her much deserved recognition. The movie could explore both Allison and Skynet's Cameron in more detail than TSCC (i.e. Summer's acting prowess would shine). Mabye ramp up liek Angelina Jolie, who once played a similar role as Casella Reese. Colt 45 who works for PinWheel as a martial arts instructor. He falls for Cash as well, and with the help of Mercy, they escape. " Being in a blockbuster movie would definitely put Summer on the map, even better if she acts as both Terminator and human, but anyway I don't think it's going to happen. The movie producers have already said they're not going to follow in the footsteps of TSCC. I'm pretty certain that the end of TSCC will be the end of our dear beloved Cameron (unless of course they make a movie based on TSCC!) As to Salvation, it's looking better and better!
