Deadpool's first fanfic

Deadpool's Manifesto: This is my first fanfiction or attempt at anything of any similar nature since.... ever!
I don't read much literature, I think I've only read one properly book in my entire life... I'm not much of a reader... I'm ashamed of that.

Anyway, with all this in mind, I'd like you who read this, the fools who this to be as harsh as is necessary to whip my ass into shape when it comes to posting coherent, well paced, and interesting fiction.

I don't want to give too much away about the story, which is planned out for the next ten chapters or so... but I will say that it will hopefully be one of those stories where you can look back at an earlier chapter and say "Ahhhh! That seemingly inconsequential line foreshadowed this..." and
"Oh! Now I have the full picture - Now I see how we got from A to C, because I have B." Since it is something that will be written largely with the plan of not settingall the groundworkout in the first, but rather slowly building up the entire story (past, present, and future) from fragments, it will probably be a slow paced read. If it doesn't work well, I'll change style (or scrap it,) so please give me feedback.

What I will say is that it's mostly going to be set in the "far future" of the Sarah Connor Chronicles, with everything that has happened up to Episode 13 being in the same continuity. There will be very little (if any... I don't plan any for several reasons which will be explored in the plot) time travel. Flashbacks, conversations, and dreams will be the most common way of fleshing out what happened post-episode 13 to get us to where this story is going.
My only two "spoilers" - don't look if you don't like them. They don't ruin anything really though...:

1) Is that you need to think of future John (/this story's present John) more like Christian B than Thomas D. Because of the obvious physical differences between their physiques. Some things will be harder to picture if you imagine Thomas D doing them or being described as them.

2) This is set long before 2027, and the status quo of the typical terminator future-wars will be challenged at this early point of the war.

Chapter 2 will be posted tonight. The first chapter is largely isolated, but it won't stay that way.

"Oh yeah... Enjoy!"

I gotta say, mate: your first chapter makes my last three look lazy. :)

Because of you I will aspire to add more depth to my writing.

Extremely well written. I can't wait for the next chapter.

The majority of your posts on shit site are pretty well thought out and puctual, so if that's any indication of your writing style/talent, I'm predicting I'll thoroughly enjoy it.

Is this going to have pretty much the TSCC ensemble cast, or will it be mostly John-centric? or maybe you don't want to say.

It's mostly John centric (especially at the start) because the world of the story needs to be grounded in relation to how "being the saviour of mankind" actually turned out for John. More ensemble characters will appear as flashbacks become more prominent and peal away how Cameron and John got to where they are now. And perhaps some characters that are part of the TSCC cast will reappear outside of flashbacks... :O
That's the plan anyway.

I'm posting to say thank you for your kind words guys and to ask forgiveness, due to unforseen consequences I must go back on my promise of Chapter 2 tonight.... :(
I've written half of it over the last few hours but now have to drive 100 miles to my home (I'm at uni atm in exam season.) Am sorry! Much love. brethren.

Tomorrow morning I'll have it done for anybody who's interested.

I like it. You seem to have skill at romantic writing and the story's set-up is good.

lol and you're right, I'm not picturing Dekker in this role. Definitely Christian Bale.

Have to wonder how long he can keep Cam's nature a secret. Won't the dogs give her away?

Okay Chapter 2 is up.

As you might have read somewhere I was going to let this die quietly, but then I realised how pissed off I'd be if somebody quit writing a fanfic I enjoyed reading. So for anybody who likes this story (because I don't :P - but I'm very self-critical) - I'm going to keep at it.

Constructive criticism is a must, please. If I can improve anything I'd very much like to. I'm also sure there's lots of spelling mistakes or typos remaining - I didn't proof read it enough considering its length to be honest. I'll do a "master proof read later," as I really, really want a break. There might be some "wtf" moments where an older version of a sentence exists in the revised version, but I think I got read of all such instances...

I was considering splitting this chapter into two, given the differences in scene and the overall length... But I decided against it because the first chapter was about establishing the closeness of John and Cameron in the future, and this is more about how they're relationship works within the future they live in.

It's broken into two distinct parts, however, so taking a well earned rest from my taxing narrative (the sentences do tend to be very convoluted) is possible. I only wish I could sell lemonade during the interval :P

What's next:
A very abrupt departure from the slow pace is all I'll say. The strike that is discussed in this chapter will take place in a surprising way, I hope.

Anyway, hope you enjoy it. Your words have been *too* kind. :)

Oh yeah. The story got more straightforward during my planning between Chapter 1 and 2. My first post has lost some of its ideals already.
Flashback explaining how Cam and John got to where they are is not out the window though, even if it's missing in this chapter. The chapter was long enough already.

Great chapter El Capitan. I really love how they her true nature and the small teases she does to John. Also, the "A heart’s a heart, no matter what it’s made from." line was awesome. I sure hope some guys would be as open-minded as other of us are.

Lookin' forward to the next one.

I'm interested in where this will go. John not automatically being the leader of all human resistance is an interesting angle. And good Jameron too. Keep it up.

It does need some polishing, though. Some sentences could do with a some re-wording, and others have remnants of apparently a previous draft lurking in them. I guess it just needs a bit of proofreading.

Props on the "heart is a heart" line.

Please continue it.
