Timeline of episode 2.8

In my opinion Episode 2.8 was a great episode!!

However, the timeline of episode 2.8 seems strange to me:
Day 1, night: John talks to Cameron at his bedroom, then leaves to meet Riley.
Day 2, morning or afternoon: Sarah is kidnapped by the Cromartie Terminator.
Day 2, morning or afternoon: Cameron goes to the ammunition shed and meets Derek there.
Day 2, morning or afternoon: John and Riley travel by bus and arrive at some small town in Mexico.
Day 2, night: John and Riley get arrested. John then phones Sarah and Derek for help. Derek
answers John's call at the ammunition shed while Cameron is still there.

This means that John has been away from home since the night of Day 1, and neither Cameron or
Derek have noticed that until the night of Day 2. Given the T:SCC storyline, this is hard to believe.

Am I missing anything?

I thought when John talks to Cameron at his bedroom that it was daytime. After Cameron left, John went to get Riley and they got on the bus. It was certainly daytime on the bus. If so, John and Cameron spoke on "Day 2, morning or afternoon." This means that John has been away from home less than one day. Do you find this valuable?

No, it's at night.
Did you notice that Cameron goes to the wrong bedroom when she knocks on 'his' door?

I missed the door mistake.

If it was dark when they had their talk, could it have been early morning, just before dawn? If not, then perhaps John spent the night with Riley before they got on the bus!! And then cairo, the OP, would have a good point because I would expect someone should have checked on John in the morning. Do you find this valuable?

Yo Cairo,

The sad truth is the writers leave a lot fast and loose, so they can give us a pretty good story (which they usally do) but leave out a lot of details knowing we as fans are going to find them.

We fans put waaaay too much on the story and the details. We should just make jiffy pop popcorn, slurp slurpies and enjoy the show like empty headed drones: all Fox needs are lots of warm bodies tuning in for ratings...

If this stuff mattered they'd be talking with the movie folks and the graphic novel stuff and the social networking/viral marketing stuff and and and - and it would all be coordinated.

The only reason is is because we care enough TO cordinate it.

I'm gonna go take a (fast!) drive and clear my head.

Before JDay does come, gotta have a life! Do you find this valuable?
