OMG! A little more than an hour and a half away right now! It will take place at Noon Pacific Standard Time (Los Angeles) also known as 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (New York). The chat widget is already up. You should now be able to see it on the homepage or on this page (link follows): http://terminatorwiki.fox.com/page/Thomas+Dekker+and+Josh+Friedman%3A+Live+Chat OMG! "I'm not going to be able to make it. Are you guys going to post a transcript on the site like last time? That would be grateful.I think Josh is planning on taking the show in a different direction; using the TSCC theme and characters in name only. He really doesn't want to associate with T like that, with T4 coming and everything that happens there (should be) a direct result of this time period. So he's gonna split Sarah off and have her follow some wild goose chase, which any tactician knows is bad (they do this in EVERY horror movie "let's split up). He's gonna follow the CW/JH/Ellison thread bc that is a line he control. He will not put the "family dynamic" that we all want to see together specially bc if he does he knows exactly what we expect and that is not something that he plans to deliver. His priority is to surprise the viewer, which is a higher priority for him that following the laws of the Terminator universe. This comes directly from his last interview. That said, I think he views producing the show from interesting angles, sort of like every now and then he says "wouldn't it be cool if..." using Terminator as a platform for his ideas but not necessarily caring if they don't quite jive with the continuity of the rest of what we know about the entire body of the whole T story. I think he thinks as Producer he gets "creative license" on doing stories that interest him for shock value, and is willing to hang the fan/viewer out to dry. Not saying this in a bad way, as he and the writing staff are very clever and creative (and I enjoy the majority of their work), but they don't seem to put much work into "tying it all together." Not sure tey ever will. They also have shown that they will do "tidbits" but no real substance to satisfy us. How long has the thre dots been going on? So don't expect to get much info. So is the chat here or at Fancast? I'll be keeping both windows open, but I don't understand why there are links to both places.

"We must trick Josh into revealing the season finale."You don't get it do you. They are going to LIE to create BUZZ - knowing that we will yap about whatever they say. They are not going to reveal anything. Proof of this is how little we have learned by wacthing 1.5 full seasons of the show. We know little more now that 3-4 episodes into the series. They are not wired for linear progression, which in the T-verse is naturally expected. Even if they told us anything would it match up with some new, "great idea" about what Josh wants to do later? Probably not. So we're largely spinning our wheels. They are doing this to get the bean counters off their backs, that are all predicting TSCC will tank and they should cancel it. In spite of it being one of the most popular scifi/action icons in modern history, has a new blockbuster hit movie coming out in the spring featuring one of the hottest boxoffice commodities, and is one of the lowest cost shows on TV to produce. Go figure. 0 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Please remain calm. I know he wont tell us anything, and what they do say is to get us worked up and distract us from what is really going to happen.

I don't care about spoils, I am more interested in creating process. Do you find this valuable? |

Would we really stop watching and think the show was boring, if we knew a little bit more? With all of the confusing stories, wouldnt there still be a lot of surprises. Are all thses stories going to tie in together and make some kind of sense?

"wouldnt there still be a lot of surprises."Of course there will be less surprises. Plus, JF already said in many interviews that he doesn't like spoilers, even if he has to give some of them to the marketing team. Do you find this valuable? |

Will there be a point (say 10 minutes before the chat) where we can log onto the chat room?I'd prefer to know I had the right location/it was going to work before the 12:00 chat - rather than 10 minutes into, or after, it... :S Do you find this valuable? |
