Yea, it was neat. I originally thought it was going to be the chaotic chat, but I actually like the way it was done better. But I think it was lead to believe it would have been like the last time, if we had known this I think we should have voted on questions.

Josh is funny. "What's T4?" Haha.

"I agree, Schmacky. I think it would have been much more fair of the moderator to have limited the questions to one question from each contributor. If the chat had been conducted in that manner, more people and more good questions might have been included. Of course, I know the old adage, "Life isn't fair," but my reply to that always is, "True, but people should be.""
I can understand them not being able to put up all the questions...but it really felt like those with the "dekker_daily" got preferential treatment.

Roger. And I am totally in support of ensuring that Dekker Daily and SCS got a question in FOR sure with all they do to support the show. But, they (dekker daily) got a lot of Q's in there and I don't understand. And others got more in there.. if we ever have another chat whoever moderated it perhaps they can learn a lesson here and do as suggested... limit it one question per person and those run out, then start going with two per but they should definitely try to get everyone's Qs in there.

They should have one question per person. And I swear there were two or three questions to Thomas about John Connors evolution. I'm kinda bummed I didnt get one question in but overall it was funny. Do you find this valuable?

"...

From what I saw though, it looked great!! I think it's amazing they do chats like that. :-)"
Yea, it's cool they do chats.... But think about it. Its cheap... no planes, or hotels.... and they don't have to sign autographs for hours.

Oh, and they don't have to answer all the questions... The best thing about cherry picking is... you end up with the best cherries.

oh yeah. that was awesome... not. We don't run the site and we were not even told anything about how to handle the situation. So they wiki screwed us all over and it's supposed to be our fault?

Sorry, if there was any confusion as to where the chat would be...It was written all over the site and in the emails that it would be on the homepage, where the widget was placed two hours before it began!
Don't chop off the heads of our gracious regular chat room mods, please!

I for one thought it was great (the actual operation of it). The first Chat was total chaos.

Hey, the more they do... the better they will get at it right??

"The chat was great, it's awesome that they're willing to do so. There were some good questions, there were some not so good questions. Only disappointing thing was quite a few people who got to ask multiple questions while some didn't get any in there.

I love Josh, he's a funny guy. Thomas is, without saying, of course a great dude and very funny himself. There were some interesting tidbits in there and again, it's awesome they were willing to do a chat at all."
The whole bit was a PR hand job, to drop a few tidbits that will keep their core fan base - mostly shippers - buzzing about the show. Nothing of real substance was delivered, but those that will over-analyze and read something into it (most -all! - or us) will have a field day with our own imaginations.

Josh isn't ever going to tell us anything, and it's pretty clear the actors don't know much either. He's not interested in sharing his creative process about the series, not with James Cameron and McG, when both of them will have big blockbuster hits and his own show is struggling.

to not tap into these abundant natural resources is a tactical error IMO, just like he doesn't want to do the family dynamic that WE want - all bc that doesn't go with the ideas he has...he's using the Terminator platform as a launcing pad for his creative talents, and I don't think cares one hoot about the continuity of his ideas with the rest of whatever is/could/would/will happens in the Terminator Universe.

I'm gonna deal with this as an alternate universe/timeline, so as not to get offended every time his plots and story arcs and elements don't jive. I know now he doesn't care labout that. That doesn't mean that he doesn't want the show to be successful, but I think he doesn't want to bow down to the T franchise and be a slave to it. I think his ego won't let him do the due dilligence that a true fan of Temrinator would. I think he puts his own plots and ideas ahead of 25 years of what was before him, and the mega hit that is just around the corner.

1.) Of course this was a PR thing to create buzz, did anyone expect differently? They're not going to reveal any spoilers, duh!

2.) Umm, the show IS an alternative timeline, that's no secret, it's been said and known for like forever. I'm surprised to see that it's somehow new to you.

Well. I thought there were some important explanations of past plot elements and events, as well as some clues and "spoilerish" hints to what was to come.

Here's the key points and lowdown of the whole thing to me:

- Josh liked the term "Dekker tapes". Some of it was accurate and some was not (we have to guess), and he "prefers" when Dekker has the camera.

- There will be more "action" between John and Cameron, but not "that" kind of action.

- The hardest scene for Dekker so far is with Riley in ep. 18.

- The character death they mentioned at comic con was Cromartie.

- Dekker says John's fake sister is a "hot terminator" and so tensions are bound to arise. (good for Jameron fans?)

- We’ll know everything there is to know about Weaver by ep. 22 (finale, right?).

- John and Allison’s birthday is apparently on the same day and month, but Josh "pretends" he hadn’t noticed that.

- One of the fans on the chat is excited about Sarah/Kyle interaction, asks for more, and Josh says he can’t answer because she would get “too excited”. (So, much more Kyle to come?)

- Cameron is going to "do something" about her chip (what and how exactly?)

- Josh knows the show will never be mainstream and get 10 million viewers, but he still needs the big network budgets to do it, so it's unlike to change to smaller cable channels.

- Josh reads a lot of feedback from the fans and he konws they don’t really want standalone episodes, but he’s got to be flexible or face cancellation.

(As a joke):
- Josh sort of claims to be "God" because he says all episodes are “God’s children”

So, there. Now nobody else needs to read the whole thing.
Looking forward to what's to come even more now (if that's at all possible)...

However, I _did_ read one profound Jameron idea from you on the "Cameron fixes her chip thread" today.
You were even COMPLIMENTED by Jameron shippers over there.
