"6) How come Sarah’s hand didn’t really hurt after she “slapped” Cameron in Gnothi Seauton?

Answer: Sarah actually pistol whipped Cam… so… hand had no contact with endoskeleton which = no hurting. ^^"
I question the logic here. If Sarah used the butt of her pistol to hit Cam, shouldn't it have been more of a cracking noise rather than a slapping noise? Wouldn't it have left a bruise on Cam?

Even if Sarah did use her bare hand, how would she have hurt it? It would still be flesh on flesh. I can understand the question if she had slapped bare metal or bare bone for that matter.

If people are asking this question, I don't believe they're understanding the physics. According to the evidence, logically, that was a bare hand slap.

"Is there an EDIT button?

Answer: Unfortunately no. Rumor has it that one is in the works, but for the moment we must settle with double checking your posts for error before posting. "

Cameron shot Enrique with the gun Vick use to kill Derek's cell members, linking the two crime scenes. Sarah then pistol-whipped Cam and split her cheek, leaving traces of Cam's synthetic blood at the scene and thus linking Enrique's murder to synthetic blood left at the scene of Dr Lyman's murder (the plastic surgeon who operated on Cromartie).

Ellison tied all of this to Derek, along with Andy Goode's murder, and presumably Dr Fleming's murder (the scientist who created Cromartie's skin).

Yup, IvyMike pretty much covered it.

Try watching the scene again. After the supposed pistol whip there are scratches on Cam's face. Those couldn't have come form a simple slap.

Plus, you can't base everything on the sound. The editors just put whatever sounded the most appropriate.

I have a question
I don't understand the time travel paradox

Time travelers comes from different futures take for example Kyle Reese in T1 he was born after judgment day because T2 never happen in his time line.
But Kyle from Dereks future was eight years old when it happen and he has no knowledge about Cyberdyne System but John send him to 1984 to protect Sarah

But it can't be our Sarah because it isn't the same Kyle ??

"I have a question
I don't understand the time travel paradox"
The writers have chosen to use the alternate reality model of time travel. This allows for far more leeway in the plot and storytelling, as new timelines are formed when things in the past are changed. Technically, it's not a "paradox," as a paradoxical time travel model would be the one where alternate realities are not possible, thus creating contradictory events through the time line. This is not the case. And even though the writer's model of parallel universes is elegant, it is less understood.

In the paradoxical model, there is only one Sarah possible. But at the same time, there would only be one Kyle as well, and his birthday would be fixed. In the show, it COULD be the same Sarah, and Kyle's was the only one to change (most likely), or it could not, and be just an alternate reality we're seeing.

Based on quantum interpretations of parallel universes (i.e. branch points), I'd venture a guess that this is the original Sarah. Whatever event changed Kyle's birthday occured after his interaction with her in the past, thereby only effecting Kyle's future, not her own.

Greg's got it. His physics is pretty sophisticated. Let me add my spin.

In the terminator universe (t-verse) you can't change your own past, only your future. Thus, it was worthwhile for Sarah to try to destroy Skynet in T2. She certainly succeeded in blowing up Cyberdyne and destroying the terminator arm and chip, and she was able to delay Judgment Day, if not prevent it.

In our TSCC, Derek remembers Andy Goode from the future in Dungeons & Dragons admitting his part in the creation of Skynet. Derek kills Andy in the present time after the chess match, but this would not erase his memory of Andy from the future. Andy will be gone from Derek's life going forward, but Derek did not change his own past.

With this interpretation of time travel, John exists as he is presented in the show, and his ongoing existence would not be jeopardized if Skynet were never created, Judgment Day never happens, and even if time machines are never invented.

Sarah is the same Sarah with all her memories of Kyle from T1 because it happened to her in her past. Young 8 year old Kyle doesn't know about Cyberdyne because Sarah succeeded in T2. He will live into his own future, which may or may not include being sent back to 1984. If the Connors succeed in preventing Judgment Day, young Kyle will probably just live a normal life and might never meet Sarah.

Thank you I liked your answers
thinking about alternate time lines gave me a severe case of headache
