In most stores in the US, there is a fundraiser for Jerry's Kids (MDA). You can buy a green paper shamrock for a dollar and you can put any name on the front you want. deep breath I have put TSCC (spelled out) on 3 of them now. OK, laugh if you want (coughNottycough), but the store will hang it on their wall or whatever. People actually stand there and read all the names before they walk out of the store. Have the DVD's sent to some willing participants who will then go out and just hand out these free DVD's on the street. Concentrating on the right demographic. Each DVD we give out will hopefully hook a new viewer then maybe they will tell their friends, who tell their friends and so on and so forth. I just e-mail WB and FOX (though I doubt the latter will help much) and basically go on about how awesome the show is and how I'll find some way to avenge the show if they both decide to axe it. =P Post reply 0 out of 1 found this valuable. FOX: askfox@fox.com Warner Bros: Scott.Rowe@Warnerbros.com Write to them; tell them you love the show. Tell them WHY you love the show. (don't mention what you didn't like or saw as a problem - we can bitch amongst ourselves for that) Tell them why you think the show should stay on for a third season at least. Talk about not only how great the show is now, but how much potential the show has for future seasons. Include some basic demographic information; age, sex, country. Perhaps occupation. I heard somewhere that there's no Nielsen boxes in college dorms or military bases; both potentially HUGE chunks of the 18-49 demographic FOX desires for the show. Be formal in the letter. Write it in a respectful, formal manner, as you would do if applying for a job. Check spelling and grammar. While it will be great if FOX does get thousands of emails, which they would at least NOTICE, having correct spelling and grammar, etc, will make them be taken more seriously. As soon as I've managed to finish this damn petition, I'll post the link for it and get as many people as possible to sign it. Anyway i had the idea about creating official threads of the show on popular forums but it didn´t have much support so i dropped it. Now let´s see..how do we sell this show and to whom? Just promoting the show is not enough.We need to give this new fans a reason to stay.It would be best if it was something about the show that you specifically like.For example since i´m a jameron shipper i´m going to sell the show to other people that i think could be attracted to that.I did it in the past with some chick i found by accident and it worked. Feb 28 2009, 5:27 AM EST well what ive managed to do is get 4 of my friends obsessed with it..so you know thats a few more viewers...and i go over to my neighbours house every friday and turn on her tv to terminator even though she doesnt watch it..thats one more viewer....and now my best friend and i every friday turn on all the TV's at school to try and get more viewers...and i got both my grandparents and sister the termiantor box set for christmas...but ill try harder....i dont wanna lose this show Post reply Do you find this valuable?
