Mar 1 2009, 4:07 PM EST \| Post edited: Mar 1 2009, 4:07 PM EST To help out with all the new Petitions and all the new pages for season 3 i came up with an idea fans making fan headers for season 3 for each of the main characters which are Sarah Connor, John Connor, Cathrine Weaver, John Henry, Derek Reese and Cameron if i have missed anyone out sorry!! :) you will need to change to header from date from Monday to Friday and the new time from 9PM to 8PM. This is because we have loads of Season 1 & Season 2 Headers to promote them to seasons so we need some new season 3 header as well as icons etc does not matter if they have season 2 pictures so long as they have season 3 and help with the design of the petitions for a season 3. Any way there is an idea for promo season 3. There are people who have only just managed to catch this show and become fans. It would be a horrible shame to end the series before it has truly begun. I am only just getting used to this US network way of dropping a great show because of ratings. How do you expect people to invest their time in something if they are not guaranteed to see it through? Please give us a Season 3! It is an amazing show on show many levels: Characters, plot twists, moral/psychological questions, "what is a person?" and much much more!!! The subtle creativity and skill that goes into this show is amazing, and the show itself has more potential than you can imagine. We a have just skimmed the surface of this show's depth and WE ALL want dive deeper into this world. bring us season 3 and many more after. do not be shortsighted.... remember what you lost when you canceled Firefly. give use more time.... please. Mar 1 2009, 6:04 PM EST \| Post edited: Mar 1 2009, 6:06 PM EST I joined this site, for no other purpose than to add to this, for what it's worth.. The show seems to be a late bloomer.. I will tell you I had absolutely no interest in watching the show when it came out, I started watching towards the end of season 1, and have been watching faithfully ever since. The reason I wasn't interested is I thought it was just another exploitation of a successful franchise. Rather it is a thoughtful and thorough exploration of a universe.. Many of the complaints lodged against the show sound like they are from people hoping we would get the movies over and over again.. There in lies what makes the show work.. All involved have given us a logical continuation of the story that isn't just the same thing happening over and over. When I say late bloomer, I mean that I know a couple people who have just started getting into it, I have encouraged them to continue watching. I truly hope and think that so long as the show continues to get a chance to breathe it will build viewers back up. However, Fox should continue to find ways to reach out to the more geeky world. Many of these people do not watch cable / broadcast, and either bought season 1 (can't buy anything else yet) or watch on line.. While streaming isn't bad, I actually think offering some kind of way to buy episodes commercial free in a high quality might appeal to people. Truthfully, I'd be surprised beyond belief for another season to get green-lit, given that it has become something of a ratings disaster, but I still pray for a miracle. The cast is great, the show's premise is excellent and it is the best Sci-Fi show on (short of BSG which is all done now). Also, with T4 coming out this Summer people are going to want more Terminator in the Fall. - Backstories are hugely popular now, everyone is making "prequels" which is what this show is all about: What happened to Sarah and John during all those years... Renew the show please, FOX! and please, schedule the show so it doesn't get interrupted by the long hiatus, long breaks don't work with a show like this. I bet if American idol suddenly took a two months break before the final, then no one would watch it. I hate the views of the commentators who base their opinion of the show entirely on mere ratings.
