Leven did a great job. Best Wishes on your next role. Do you find this valuable?

All My Children was a spring board for quite some actress, I'm sure it'll be for Leven as well. She did a great acting job on TSCC. And with this blog post she showed she has class too. Do you find this valuable?

"This I agree with, there wouldn't have been as much Riley hate if Jesse's plan was revealed sooner.

It really is a shame though because Leven is a pretty damn good actress and didn't deserve alot of the hate (most was directed at Riley, but some was directed at her, unfortunately)."
Agreed but I guess this improves the longevity of the series. We will all watch S2 again and view Riley in a totally different light. At which point she will probably become really popular!

I think some of the comments made about her on here were bang out of order and hope that the writers plan all along was to have Riley killed and did not listen to any of the "fans" wishes to see her off the show. It would be really sad to think fan negativity has prematurely ended Leven's opportunity especially seeing as based on her blog post it was a role she cherished.

I don't think the problem was with Jameron fans, I think the problem was that Riley and John never had great chemistry together. Their scenes together always felt so awkward, which made it hard for me to believe that the characters liked each other.

Maybe the problem wasn't with Leven/Riley, the problem was with Thomas Decker. The dude is obviously such a raging queen that it's impossible for any actress to have any chemistry with him. It's a credit to Summer Glau that she puts up with him, since Summer is such a nice girl, but you can tell from videos where they're out of character that she's weirded out by him. Summer's a much more experienced actress than Leven, so she can probably do a better job putting up with Decker.

So, now that Riley's gone, maybe we can take a sober look at the reasons why she wasn't popular, and maybe Decker shares some of the blame?

I love Leven she is only 18, blond and a hottie she will have a fabulous career, I'm actually looking forward to seeing her in some more stuff, I think she the actress added the depth of the Riley character and a good actress usually can play a character that you love to hate, AHEM Ms. Jacobsen! LOL but Seriously I appreciate the work Leven has done on the show Great Job! Do you find this valuable?

"Well, Josh said in the IGN interview that the fans tend to analyze every minor detail from the episodes(and isn't that what we're doing here?xD) and also mentioned that some of the fans often have better ideas then him(I don't know what to think about this but it's very brave of him to mention it)."
Definitely referring to "Riley Connor-Brewster" :P

I will just say that I hated the ham-fisted inclusion of the Riley character, and I disliked the way Levin handled the character, but reading the below quote from her blog made me sad, and a little angry.

***Peace out, y’all. Maybe we’ll see each other again soon (and hopefully I will be hounded by another sexy fembot). And just maybe you won’t all despise my presence or think I’m a whale (it’s all about the Bikram Yoga…).***

A "WHALE"? Another reason why I think Skynet and the Cylons just may have the right idea about wiping out humanity...

I admired the fact that Leven was so light-hearted and humurous about the fact that some people called her a "whale" around here and discussed her weight and appearance the way they did, and also after so much hate vented towards her character and wishes for her to have a gruesome and brutal death on the show.

So many people realized the value and worthiness of her character way too late (only after her fight with Jesse), for reasons mostly unexplained to me.

The girl is clearly above all that. And so she should.
Best wishes for her.

If you are a famous girl and good looking then you shouldn't venture online if you don't want to see horrible comments about yourself. Its sad but the internet can be one big hate machine at times. This is why Summer doesn't read stuff about herself. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Yeah, but I think it's still particularly sad when those horrible comments come from people who claim to be huge fans of the show the girl in question stars in, and not just from someone random on the net, imho.

Nearly midnight here, I should be going to bed now... instead, I just had to comment on that blog post. Seriously, how awesome are the people who work on this show? They always seem to take the time to address us in some way or another, I don't really know of any other show that does this kind of thing so much. Do you find this valuable?

Yeah same here, i mean she isn't even on set anymore. She must have just decided to stop by, thats really good of her.

I was amazed when Tom Dekker responded to a question i had on his photography on the blog. That really made up for when none of my questions got answered in the live chat lol. Its a great blog and the guy who updates it all the time is doing a great job.

Dekker mentioned some kind of emotional scene with Leven, we have not seen a preview of it yet. Maybe over her body at the morgue? I know the clip with Sarah there is no emotion. Who will John show emotion to concerning Riley's death? Maybe by himself? John probably knows no one else is very understanding. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Could mean difficult in means of acting. It's not easy to stay still while someone weeps or says a monologue or simply stares at you. And neither is easy to do the things above with someone who stands perfectly still and holds his/her breath.

I can't say that I was ever a fan of her character at all, but that was due to the writing, not the acting. Leven has always seemed to be a very likeable person with her off-camera interactions with the fans. She definitely didn't deserve the personal attacks that came her way.

I wish her the very best of luck with her career.

Her last comment is unfortunate.....

She has no business in show business if she takes fan comments to heart, and I don't feel sad for her in the least. Grow up for christ sake. As an entertainer, you have to expect that shit.
Good luck, and Good riddance.

PS: Sorry if that is a little too harsh for some of you, but there is allot of bad things happening to people all over right now, and feeling sorry for an actress should be very low on the priority list.
