"TooBoku you have to understand that it is very easy to hate Riley...the way John turned in to a real pissy emo or they way that it distracted from the main plot....How she calls John in the middle of the Nite wants him to pick her up then changes her mind. How she tries to keep him away from Cameron I don't mean relationship love wise she was there to train and protect him.Yah there are plenty of reasons if you are a typical blinded emo fanboy. Right from John Connors own mouth when he confronted Jesse, Riley put herself between metal and him. He saw her as a good person who came from a horrible future. Your to shallow and just sit there and say " she was annoying " what does that mean ? If you put yourself in the story a little bit and not just look at it like her getting in the way of Jameron. How about the personal cracks about her weight ? Really your trolling this thread. 2 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

What I like is the guise of goofing on the character but meaning the actress...very lame attempt at being clever.

"finding skynet the main plot of the show...but at the current time he really didn't need that baggage don't get me wrong...I just defended Alison against three Jams today so I am not a blinded fan boy. I want John Connor to ultimately end up alone it is the best for man kind so that he can be more focused. There is just something about both Jesse and Riley that rubbed me the wrong way. And yeah Riley cracks are fun. Do you find this valuable? |

I think you need to watch the show a little closer. When I get the dvd's and rewatch the entire season, Riley's character is going to be in a totally different light. And John's reactions toward her. I agree with the OP - Riley was awesome and Levin did a kick ass job. Do you find this valuable? |

I think you need to watch the show a little closer.I do watch the show fairly close...I don't think that it was staged. I think that she really did want to die. I think that was just something she told Jesse so that she would stop hitting her. I don't think that it was done for just John's benefit. I have all the episodes either on blu ray or on my computer. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I thought Leven did a fantastic job playing Riley. She did it so spontaneously that it didn't seem like acting at all. I really enjoyed her final scene when she had beaten up Jesse to the tears. I thought that was amazing and I actually cheered for her. Yeah, you go girl! Kick her in the... but we all know how it ended. She was great in that role. She is a talented young actress and I have no doubt she will have many good roles in the future. Great work Leven!

"Yes, even though Riley was pretty much hated by every fan (she was rather annoying at times) I thought Levin did a GREAT job playing her :) She is really a talented actress and I, personally, look forward to see what other projects she has coming in the future :) (the fight scene with Jesse was awesome, i thought....i think she could do really well in an action series of her own!)Frankly, my whole perception of Leven Rambin was tainted by her character, Riley, who's just a whiney, blubbering mass of fat. I doubt Leven Rambin herself is like this, but it's kinda hard to tell since I've never seen her playing anything else. Also, I heard she's a soap star?? -- would explain why Riley was so over the top. In all fairness, maybe Leven was just simply portraying her character -- but the fact remains that her character was annoying as hell, which will always be how most people will remember Leven herself. 1 out of 1 found this valuable.
