"I'm not sure I follow you here?

Are tattoos required for some of the odd crowds? Come to think of it, I think they might be for some of the Asian tong kind of things, not that I'm very familiar with them (only what I've seen on the History Channel)."
Lots of odd crowds. Mostly Gangs though.

have you seen this movie? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0765443/

No, I can't say that I've seen that particular movie.

Back when I used to be an officer for the North Carolina Department of Correction, we had a database of gang related tattoos. They were more of a "badge of pride" kind of deal (The gang name in flames around a burning skull or snake, or what have you), as opposed to being a requirement for being in the various prison gangs. Once the gang members started realizing we were cataloging their tattoos, the trend began to shift to no tattoos at all...for obvious reasons.

Betcha not many of those 'bangers were displaying birds butterflies and flowers. In fiction tattoos have been used identify many organizations, from airborne rangers to satanic cults. in 'eastern promises' tattoos figured heavily in the russian mafia.
Hopefully in the future Lena will get a role where the tattoos are usable. they are pretty hot.

1) Actually, there were a few Asian guys with oriental dragons, flowers and such. But their tats appeared mostly ornamental, each was different so we didn't associate it with any gang insignia.

2) I'm just curious now, why did you specifically say "airborne rangers", instead of any other generic special ops title?

Actually thats a gaff on my part. I misremembered Gary Busey having a rangers tattoo in 'Lethal Weapon'. In fact it was special forces.

"I had no idea Lena was sporting ink. I could see some reasons that Sarah might get tattoos, she has had to fit into some odd crowds in her quest for tactical knowledge. I just don't see Lena's tats being Sarah's. Nice work tho.

Great link. Yeah, looking at those tattoos, they just don't have the TSCC style about them. Need something like a dagger dripping blood, or a Glock image... etc. for Sarah. Lena never did live at Pescadero or was attacked by Terminators, so Sarah would be different!

Lena Headey is a peace loving vegetarian that doesn't like guns.

Sarah Connor is an escaped felon that taught her son to shoot various weapons and make various types of bombs before he was 10 years old.

Yeah, they so wouldn't have the same type of tattoos.

Well, I would say Sarah is peace-loving, too. And for all we know, she's a vegetarian, as I only remember pancakes and pizza being served, I think (veggie pizza of course!!). Sarah is more proficient in pyrotechnics than Lena, for sure. And the accent is off, but besides that, they do look alike.... LOL

Sarah is going to get a coyote tattoo anytime now....
I keep thinking I'm going to get something, but when I mentioned it to some family/relatives one time, they all said it would result in blood poisoning or something. If done with new needles, I wouldn't think there would be a problem. I might just do it...... a coyote wouldn't be bad for a guy, but they have a bad reputation here in Colorado, as there have been no less than 5 documented human attacks by them this winter alone around here.
