Terminator Special FX questions
Mar 12 2009, 3:19 PM EDT
1) I've seen large chunks of synthetic flesh shot away and sometimes large sections of endo-skeletons exposed. Yet, the next episode (which appears to be either "later that same day" or "the next day", its healed. Question: How fast does the terminator flesh grow back? 2) Cromardi took the doc's eyes, when he regrew his flesh. Yet the eyes appear to fully integrated and functional with the unit's flesh in later episodes. Does the flesh graft the eyes and keep the tissue "alive"? Would fake or glass eyes work just as well for a terminator unit? Any thoughts, ideas or questions of your own? Do you find this valuable?

Unsure as to how fast it regenerates, but as Cameron says, it's much faster than normal Human regeneration. For a specific time? We don't know.

"Unsure as to how fast it regenerates, but as Cameron says, it's much faster than normal Human regeneration. For a specific time? Mind you that most episodes are probably several days appart atleast. The Connors still sleep, eat, train and shop most of the week. ;) 2) Since skin grafts onto itself closing wounds, thus connecting veins, it's assumable that the veins are connected to the eyes also by regrowth, thus feeding the eyes with the fluids needed for them to stay 'healthy'. Okay, here's another question that had me puzzled. Endo-skeletons have synthetic teeth set into their jaws, as we've seen. But I can't remember seeing a tongue. Do Terminators speak with a computer controlled speaker, or does the synthetic flesh include growing a tongue and some sort of vocal cords? Do you find this valuable? |

"(edit) btw 600 cool new avatar."Thanks. I just made it in photoshop about 10 min. ago. You know how it is with rubber skin. One little cut shaving and your whole face falls off. I'm off to buy some "Crazy Glue" in a few minutes. =D Do you find this valuable? |
