TSCC - Will Jesse try and avenge Dereks Death in TSCC Season 3?

Just one thing as we do not know for certain that Jesse is dead will Jesse Join the Connors and avenge Derek's Death as well as help win the war against Skynet or will she go solo and do it alone, but bump in to the Connor's and Cameron once every so often ?? as we know that Jesse and Derek where lovers!! what are your guesses on this

Derek tried to/did kill her.

If she were alive, why would she avenge him? Do you find this valuable?

Because they didn't show Jesse dead on the ground, and we know that gun didn't actually go off, you can be absolutely sure she's not dead. Because this show doesn't mind showing corpses - you see Riley, Derek and Charley Dixon stone dead don't you.

So Jesse is not dead, but then you have to ask - where would this character go from here? She must know she lost the battle to turn JC off Cameron. All she could do was join the Connors and be a valuable sidekick to replace Derek - she'd be at the bottom of the pecking order to win the trust of the Connors. She's handy for interesting flashbacks to the future - but then they badly wasted the character of Derek in that way - every ep could have had some little vivid bit of post-JD action from him. Do you find this valuable?
