I think Danny Dyson is a good choice: at least we know the name AND he knows the deal. His whole plot thread could be about what he has been doing - how could anyone just grow up and go to school knowing the entire planet is gonna get toasted soon? I wouldn't sit back and let that happen, would you?

I liked the baby sister girl, as she had spunk, like some of the likeable sidekicks on Buffy and Angel.

And strangest of all, is CW: the enemy of my enemy is my friend. She can bring her own "resources" of hired human minions and hackers and spies and plants and crooks to steal stuff - any one of them have the background to be a strong support character. Of course, Ellison is going to have to step his game up, even JH thinks he's a pansy - and JH doesn't evne have any experience with black ops!"
Assuming you know all of the timeline explanations out there, I think you just have to assume that all of John Connor's abilities (hereditary genes and such) that are crucial for defeating Skynet are derived from Sarah Connor solely. So it wouldn't matter who the father is... It's destined that Sarah Connor give birth to the savor of mankind.

That's how I see it anyways, since the above explanation was the only one I've ever seen to make sense. Plus it fits nicely with James C.'s exploration of fate. Do you find this valuable?

Detective Creighton (lapd) should stay in it. Take over Ellisons old role as 'the authorities' after Sarah. He is annoying enough that we could hate him full time.

Lauren Fields, team medic, new Riley. (yeah, I said it)

Sarah needs a new guy, but not so noble as Charley was. A Han Solo pirate type. Do you find this valuable?

I definitely like the idea of Danny Dyson making a return. He'd be about John's age, so maybe they'd end up being friends? Heck, maybe we'd find out that he was a resistance member, but changed his name because it became infamous. :D

Also, they should introduce a love interest for Sarah at some point. She's had one (Charlie) and two potentials (Andy Goode and Derek Reese), but they're all dead now. If they can come up with a character who fits into the universe well, and has good chemistry with Sarah, that would be pretty cool. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Holy snap, I just thought of something... Elaborating further on my idea of Danny changing his name due to the negative associations with his father, what if he changed his name to... DUN DUN DUN....

Major General Justin Perry? I think it would actually work... After all, Andy Goode changed his name to escape the negativity surrounding his name, so maybe the Dysons would follow suite? If they had Danny Dyson as a major character, it would actually be a good way to explain where he was in the future timeline. I actually like this idea. :D 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
