"It is nice to get your slightly different Sarah character, who does not like Jameron but is not bitching and keeps cool.

I think that the fight against the 8 or so metals in chapter 8 was a bit too much. It is funny to see Cameron fighting River Tam style though.
I would have liked a different end - similar to "Ourselves alone". As in your story Cameron tries to pull John towards her but by letting him repair her like he has done with her hand in "Ourselves alone". Now it would have been her abdomen or would this have been to creepy? It seems that Cameron likes John working on her - endoskeleton.

Looking forward to the next chapter.

I agree that the last battle was a bit of a stretch, but I wanted to go out with a bang; I don't know when I'll next get around to another chapter, so I'm sorry to disappoint in that regard. Just finished chapter one last night. So far, you've done a great job in portraying how TSCC John would have acted given Judgment Day plus a few years. Despite more experience and a deeper understanding of Metal, his judgment is still somewhat cast aside by his big heart. Is this the tragic flaw that will cause his demise? Or is this the thing that will lead to Humanity's salvation? Tune in tomorrow, same Bat time, same Bat channel to find out!

Really though, it's great writing. "Jameron Begins - Chapter One" beats out any that are in the T4 prequel book that I just recently finished reading. Better imagery and character development in the one chapter than in all of the T4 book. The word choice and sentence structure that you've implemented is also much better. Do you find this valuable?
