My remix has been in limbo due to an apartment move, but I just finished putting the studio back together last night. I hope to give an update soon.

Cameron-TOK716 is the last having added modifications may be Cam know how to do for linking the thread with that page, so we can access all the contributions without having to search in the thread. (Just an idea) ;)

Try this http://www.reaper.fm/ and as Virtual amp http://frettedsynth.home.att.net/ you have to put the dll into C:Programs\REAPER\Plugins\FX

you can also try http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ Do you find this valuable?

I use www.fileden.com but I think www.box.net is better, it has an integrated player. Do you find this valuable?

Terminator related theme I made 5 minutes ago^^
It took me 2 hours to realise that it sounded like shit...., I tried some new recording software
which crashed about 35 times(nearly smoked the same amount of cigarettes..),
so I had to glue the spare parts together and the volume was way to high... and that´s where the hisses come from^^
but I´m not the kind of guy that throws away "2"!! (in words: two) hours of his life. ;-3
The theme sounds a bit halo like at the beginning but it changes fast..... muhhahaaha^^
I think I´m gonna redo it... maybe later, maybe tomorrow
hopefully... you don´t hate it to much :-p

sounds awesome but it could use a bit more action (diversity)
(don´t take this serious I´m just a guitar noob, I´m playing a bit more than a year ;-3)

yeah that one is great too!! but the volume doesn't seem the same, during the play.
Anyway some kind of psychadelic experience when listening ;) Do you find this valuable?

Zable, amazing work! Feeling outdone, I'm almost inclined to throw the towel in on my own arrangement.
I love the dream piano! Now then, you said you were using Sonar Cakewalk to score?
If you're taking suggestions on how to switch gears, I recommend letting the strings take the lead for a while. Let's hear the story from another instrument's perspective.

yeah!!! wow, it's interesting.
i would ask when you did it, did you focus on the music only or did you have something else in mind(scene,image,dialogue,song,feeling..from a terminator movie or from a TSCC episode...)? Do you find this valuable?

@Whizbang: Don't you dare abandon your arrangement. It's fantastic, and desperately needs to be finished. And just so you know, I like your track better.

I still use Fruity Loops to write music. Haven't had a chance to try out the things you recommended to me yet (unfortunately).

Regarding the synth/strings, I've actually been thinking of doing just the opposite. That is, cut everything except the piano and then just try to flesh that out a bit. But I don't know, I have a feeling I'd miss the other stuff. Hmm...

@Volt-area: I didn't have anything in particular in mind, just played around with the themes a bit. Do you find this valuable?

It´s just a weird impro that came to my mind thinking about how awesome and deeply philosophical my poster is. <3
But I think , I´m going to start something that takes me longer than 15 minutes... it finally makes my ashamed
of myself listening to your cool well developed music and still making some cheap guitar crap. ;-p
