Season 2- well let's see. The begining episodes were ok, then we got into the crazy Sarah episodes and it tanked. The last few episodes were great but it was too late and the ratings are terrible. So- the show will be cancelled.

I actually really like those sarah episodes, If you paid attention to those eps you would notice they answered a lot of questions, and sarah inst crazy maybe just alittle, shes bad a**. Anyhow we were not having the best ratings in the beginning eps as well. Do you find this valuable? |

Season 2 for me was epic and sort of a failure at the same time. i'm not gonna get into any real hating because I didn't hate the season just didn't like the way it ended. This season for me was about the evolution of Sarah Connor. While in the first season she was very domestic or at least she tried to be, season two was about the fierce warrior I came to love in T2. It was filled with awesome displays of ass kickery on her part but reached a new high when she chewed her hand to get out of her manacles and did the very machine like thing of blasting Winston away without hesitation. It was cold and deadly and hot all at the same time. Wish John coulda been more a man. Wish the Jesse story line woulda ended better Wish Derek didn't have a completely waste of death only to have him back any damn way. Wish the Jameron thing didnt bug me so much. But the biggest gripe about season 2 is this ass backward moronic idea that the Sarah eps killed the show. Its a stupid baseless agrument that get's over ridden by the plain as day fact that the FRIDAY move is what killed the damn show. Do you find this valuable? |

To make my position clear I start by saying that S2 was pretty good. It wasn't great and it didn't meet my expectations but still only BSG was able to top it quality wise.It had way too little content both story and character wise to have decent pace for 22 eps. There were inconsistencies in writing the characters. FOX made terrible demands that severely hurted the first 13 eps and JF made his own mistakes that hurted the final 9. It was the first long season done by JF so some of its errors must be due to lack of experience. In a way I'm not surprised about tanked ratings: without (unhealthy) obsession about either the franchise or any one of the characters I don't see how S2 could have kept peoples' attention through its worst episodes. By shortening it to 12 eps it would have been much better. Eps 1, 7, 8 and 17-22 have most of the stuff that matters. If Allison is important 4 should have been both rewritten to have more future scenes and moved closer to season finale. Rest of the important things could have been put to two semi-stand alones. That's pretty much my opinion. I love the series but I can't drop the criticism. Do you find this valuable? |

Positive Feedback:- Enjoy the experimental episodes. Keep trying to do different things. This is one of the things that makes the show stand above all others. - Keep using the Shield format of a surprise and shock each episode if possible. More Shield actors and actresses (CCH Pounder perhaps) like Catherine Dent R.I.P. -Fantastic development of John's theme. Continue developing new music throughout this series. Reuse as little music as possible unless it is remixed or a special moment that requires a full set piece. -More things like the Sarah arc, which I enjoyed immensely, especially the voiceovers by Lena, dreams are great. 1 warning - dont make the dreams as obscure as last time. I consider myself a pretty decent thinker and I like that the show challenges me, but I didnt get or enjoy the dream episodes until I read the writeup that was posted on the writers blog. I also didnt have time to dig on the internet to discover meanings, so that didnt help. Negative Feedback: -Be sure that the experimental episodes work and have a purpose. Alpine Fields was the worst episode of the year and Desert Cantos runs a close second. Mr. Ferguson however used an excellent format that worked within the context. -If new music is to be created for Skynet/Kaliba, do a restart on the theme. The theme of Kaliba/Skynet in season 2 was too "aliens from outer spaceish". -There were some examples of pacing problems. The middle of the season seemed a little slow while the beginning and end of the season moved too fast. Take for example, Born to Run, an immensely enjoyable episode, was rushed. We didnt get promised resolution on a lot of the questions and I dont want "well john went to a different time so all that stuff doesnt matter now" to be the answer. Episodes with excellent pacing were: Today is the Day Pt 2, Adam Raised a Cain & Mr. Ferguson Do you find this valuable? |

Well...hmm..there's so much to say and so little space.. alright i'll keep it short. I REALLY enjoyed season 1..the crew was more intact..more of a real unit...and the episodes were a bit more simpler. I enjoyed plenty of season 1 episodes, not going to name all of them though. Season 2 started out promising..i appreciated the fact that you could tell off the bat they had more money to play with. But then they bombarded us with all these sub-plots and characters we could care less about (Riley..Jesse.) Not hating just saying...ANywho..i really enjoyed Allison from Palmdale...yes im a summer fan...what a surprise? lol I was happy to see her act more human...like her firefly days...anywho.. Season two started off great.....got boring towards teh middle with the 3 dots and then totally redeemed itself in the last few epi's. I for one love this show and am really hoping we get a 3rd season. I think the acting is superb...great job on the casting. Here's my pick of characters for season 3. Sarah..John..Cam(ofcourse!)..Ellison joins the Connors, Chola joins the Connors(ooh..hot girl)...Weaver stays as her badass self..(i enjoy her acting) . Maybe some more future epis? I just dont want there to be 12 regulars like last season(exagerating a little)...keep it short and sweet....simple and explosive!!! Dont forget the hot factor...Lena, Summer and SabrinaPerez will deliver on that. lol ;) Hey, im a man...we need some sex appeal... 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

I think everyone who's responded has pretty much already covered what was right, and what was wrong, with Season 2. So I won't get too elaborate.Season 1 started a bit uneven, but quickly became very strong. It's a shame that the strike messed up plans for the first season. Would've liked to have seen how it unfolded, according to plan. But at least it ended on a strong note. The beginning of Season 2 was probably a casualty of the fact that plans went awry. I didn't think the first 2 episodes were that good, really. But starting with episode 3, the show took off like a rocket. Then we finally hit the Riley and three dots subplots. I didn't mind the Riley stuff, so much. But the three dots story thread dragged on forever, without even the slightest payoff. Even with Sarah discovering the prototype HK at Kaliba, we still weren't really any closer to knowing what the three dots were *really* all about. (Yes, the HK looked like three dots in the sky. But you still somehow knew there was more to it, that we weren't hitting paydirt yet.) Then add the three-in-a-row introspective Sarah episodes, and the season was hitting its bottom. Too long, too much Sarah, too boring. I know the show is called the "Sarah Connor" chronicles. But, still. *Yawn* Thankfully, the season then quickly rebounded and finished incredibly strong again. The last 6 episodes were a remarkable turnaround. I understand that the show can't always be jam-packed full of action, because too much of a good thing is also bad. Not to mention the budget problems it would cause. But I think a grave mistake was made with the aforementioned three dots and Sarah-centric episodes. Some introspective and more intellectual episodes are fine, but you dwelled on those things far too long. Hopefully, you won't repeat a similar mistake in a third season. Do you find this valuable? |

Most of the eps were really good, i thought. There were a few that were uneven in places, though. On a scale of 1-10..10 being best, I would have to give S2 an 8. Do you find this valuable? |

Oh yeah, and for the love of god, please don't bring Kacey back! I heard a rumor that they may bring her back in a third season. Well, she was the most annoying character, by far. I really didn't need to see Sarah and Kacey having all those angsty chats taking up half an episode, thanks! :pOverall I'd give Season 2 a 7/10. Season 1 was a 9/10. S2 was dragged down by the crummier episodes. If I don't count those, I'd also have given S2 a 9/10. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

But we didnt! We didnt even get to see the baby being born. I must admit I found her funny, totally inappropriate for the show, but funny nonetheless. Guess what, there was this girl, and she was found with a gunshot to the chest, and thrown like in the river, and the only identifying mark was this tattoo of a star on her hand, and did you read the new US Weekly, and my husband is a deadbeat dad... lol Do you find this valuable? |

Although Season One was good, I honestly liked Season Two much, much more. The episodes were all great in my opinion. I think episodes 1-8, 11, 14-22 were my favourites... which is pretty much the whole season haha. I love sub-plots (although I was kind of disappointed that Riley was indeed from the future, even though I had my suspicions, and also how Kacey never found out about the Connors before they left..I was hoping that there would be a brawl with a terminator while Kacey was there..it would have been interesting). The music was amazing too.. I'm big on music and I always stay tuned to the music in every show or movie. I don't understand why some people don't like most of the episodes... could be just me... maybe I get entertained easily? haha. well, if you get bored of an episode, try to imagine it to be you in that position -- say john connor or cameron. Thats what i do sometimes if I get bored. Trust me, it gets more interesting cause you stay tune of everything. Weird, maybe. But it works :) hhaa Do you find this valuable? |

No, if you enjoyed Season 2 throughout, you are a tough nut to entertain.Evidently not everyone enjoys the character development, mystery, ect ect. I enjoyed the whole season: the action parts, the serialized mystery, the art. I enjoyed the details, homages, little clues, references to T1,& T2, the foreshadawing, the prophecies, how everything tied together. I even enjoyed having to come to this site to ask and figure out "What Happend?". Getting to details, my only criticism was in Earthling Welcome: when Catherine Weaver found out about the Caliba warehouse. She appeared angry that the Caliba watchman, Winston, made a mistake to call on an unsecured line. Normally if an arch enemy makes a critical security mistake, the benefitor would seem gleeful. The anger mislead me for a couple weeks that Weaver was angry at the watchman for not following protocol, and therefore he was her employee and the warehouse was hers. This was the only error that conflicted with the plot. (Of course there are a lot of plot questions for Season 3.) I told others on this forum, but those of us that enjoy this kinda depth in a show are rare. We don't like pop music or pop TV. It would be my loss, but Freidman's gain if the plots were more transparent. If the show were dumbed down then the series could be more popular. That being said, there is no reason to end the easter eggs. Do you find this valuable? |

For me, Season 2 was a bit of a letdown, but only in the sense that it felt too disjointed from one episode to the next. It lacked the rhythm of the first season and the elements there that made it so good the first time around. It just didn't feel right. But on the otherhand, there were many moments throughout the season where it surpassed the first. Episodes like "Mr. Ferguson..." and "Ourselves Alone" were just pure gold (and no, my choices there are not influenced by the fact that both episodes have Riley being shot at... well, maybe a little). I don't count "Samson & Delilah" as part of Season 2 though, because I honestly feel associate it more with the first season as "Automatic..." was such a left turn in how Season 1 was going that it changed my view of the entire season from there on out. I give it an 8/10 (compared to Season 1's 9/10). Do you find this valuable? |
