Okay heres a little bit about me:Girly stuff: i do wear makeup, but just to rebel against my -cringes- grandfather. -/cringes- tight shirts, short shorts, more rebeling. dancing like *yeahuknowwhat* more rebelling...but i go to baseball games with my friends, i watch nascar racing, i play baseball all the time, i cannot run to save my life =] i always end up walking, i have something (a disease thing) with my hip which affects my knees and ankles and feet, so no one can make fun of me on that one =] i have curly hair, so i straighten it all the time, i always wake up early to do my hair =] i am on this diet thing where i dont eat any chocolate and fattning stuff (more rebelling) and i like to be thin!!!! babies: awwww i love babies they are soooo adorable!!!!! @trigger happy14: yes, too few! tell everyone you know, lets make this thread amazing!!! Checking in to the girls only thread...NICE!...yeah when i first got on i was like "Where are all the girls?" lol but I don't know many girly-girls who get into sci-fi, I am certainly a girly-girl (evidence below)ok so heer's me in a nutshell sports fanatic (European football AMAZING!) Play soccer, b-ball, lacrosse and i fence Don't wear a whole lot of make-up (Only when forced) love to shop (mostly for DVD's or electronics) In a relationship (with a dude) btw He's FANTASTIC, like make you all jealous awesome! Got a thing for dark chocolate and Jane Austen Cry every single time i watch A Walk to Remember Closet writer (since i was 12) so yeah... Do you find this valuable? |

i used to be quite a tom-boy and never gave a rip about the girly stuff. things change though :) especially when you have to present an appearance in a semi-professional setting.i'm now the girl in the stores you shop in who is telling you that "those shoes totally work with your dress...which is a great color for you by the way, and if you wear that open-toed shoe, there's this really awesome fusia color nail polish in our make-up department that will go so so perfect. are you going to wear your hair up or down?....can i make a suggestion?.....etc etc etc."<---yeah i'm that girl. lol. Hey cool thread! I'm not really a girly girl either. Growing up I was a tom boy and I guess I'm kinda still am. I'm 29 and a mom of 2. My daughter is turning 4 next month and my son is 14 months. I still love to play sports, watch action movies (especially ones where girls kick butt), climb rocks and play at the playground with my kids. I haven't gone to a salon in a long time. I've been cutting my own hair and experimenting with it. I usually regret it but I still cut my own hair over and over again. I only wear make-up on special occasions, like weddings. I'm not really into manicures and pedicures. I only wear heels on special occasions too. I wore heels at my wedding and it killed my feet. Almost as painful as childbirth (well, not really but painful enough). I love Sarah Connor's wardrobe in TSCC. Really kewl looking yet practical everyday clothing for a action hero mom. I'm not sure if this is considered girly, but I absolutely love the film Pride & Prejudice (the one with Keira Knightley). It's the one chick flick that I could watch over and over again, laughing at the same parts and quoting the lines. Well, I guess that's me... Do you find this valuable? |
