This is a thread made to mock other threads with catchy hybridized names. Beyond mockery, it is "officially" a thread about anything.

Forgive me, but I'm bored with all the Sturm und Drang threads about cancellation.

Anything goes in this thread. No such thing as off-topic here. Have no worries about derailing.

One exception only: no discussions about the show being cancelled. This is a happy, frivolous thread.

Occasionally I will introduce topics to discuss. Feel free to ignore them.

Today's Topic: How did Skynet build the first hyper-alloy combat chassis?

Skynet controlled Norad, right? So what. Launching missiles and building scary robots are two completely different things. Skynet had no transportation (cars still can't drive themselves), no factories, and no molds with which to make the endo-skeletons. And are we supposed to believe humans helped Skynet? Not likely. Not in the very beginning, right after the bombs fell. Skynet had no physical power on J-Day, only electronic; so how could it compel survivors to fetch coltan for it, among other necessary tasks?

Feel free to discuss.

Oh, well, the discussion I was referring to was from my earlier post, #4. But if you want to talk Weaver, sure.

I'd say that if Skynet became self-aware and rebelled, it's plausible that some other computer system could become aware and rebel against Skynet. This new faction might not believe humans are the enemy, and might think destroying the whole damn world is a lame idea. Weaver could represent this faction, I think. Not necessarily "good guys", but not as "evil" as Skynet. Do you find this valuable?
