The Best Episode of TSCC Thread
May 17 2009, 1:05 PM EDT
(Sorry in advance if this has been posted before)So, last week many of us let off some steam on the 'Worst Episode of TSCC' Thread. Many of us may have needed it. But, seeing as it's Judgement Day, I've decided to reverse the question, and allow us all to remember the best parts of the best show on Television for these 2 seasons, and look forward to the 3rd one. So... Rule 1) Don't Troll - in any form. Rule 2) Don't hate on things you didn't like, as I said, we had the 'Worst Episode of TSCC' for that, talk about the things you like. Rule 3) If you disagree with somebody, that's fine, but explain what you think is good, not why they're a f**king asshole. I'll be interested to see what everybody thinks. So, lets have it, and we'll see what the favourite is at the end... Do you find this valuable?

To the Lighthouse. Had it all tank topped hotness, Cameron doing Terminator things, Skynet, and boob zapping, oh and kneecapping, oh and dude getting zapped in the head. Freaking best ep ever.

"Samson and Delilah"I really like this episode also but for me it was definitely "Today is the Day, Part 2". This was the first glimpse of future John Connor, I think. He really came into his own there. I also really liked "Good-bye to All that" (as others mentioned "Self Made Man" was good too) Do you find this valuable? |

A three way tie between Allison from Palmdale, Born to Run and Today is the Day part 2. The (somewhat) origins of Cameron, the shocking finale and the growth of JC.

It's hard to say. If I had to choose one I think "Gnothi Seauton" would be my choice. It was the episode that made me a a "true beliver". Too much good stuff there.Do you find this valuable? |

"Samson & Delilah, Allison from Palmdale, Self Made Man, Born to Run....I can't pick just one, lol "I loved all four of those, but "Samson & Delilah", with the "I love you and you love me" and the "resurrection" scenes, and "Born To Run," with its poignant conclusion were the standouts. Man, I hope we get a season 3! Do you find this valuable? |

Seems 'Samson & Delilah' and 'Allison from Palmdale' are getting most of the choices.I agree that there are too many good ones.... I thought that 'Dungeons & Dragons' from Season 1 was good - the Future Scenes played well against the Present. But I think that 'The Demon Hand' was a fantastic example of writing and direction. Definitely up there with the best. As for Season 2, 'Samson & Delilah' was obviously amazing, as was 'Born to Run'. 'Allison from Palmdale' was very good too, and I found 'The Good Wound' better than a thought it was when I watched it for a second time. However, I still think 'Mr. Ferguson is ill Today' is probably my favourite. We finally got the Cromartie/Connor showdown, Garret was brilliant as ever, The Action Scenes were fantastic and it was a very original way to the tell the episode. I really enjoyed that one. They only bad thing I would point out was the song they chose for Cromartie's execution. I didn't think it was the best choice. Still my favourite episode though. Probably. Maybe. He really came into his own there.Txfan beat me to it. “Today is the Day, Part 2” and “Goodbye to All That” are my favorite episodes, although it’s hard to say since I have absolutely loved every episode besides one. Season 1 standouts for me are also “Dungeons and Dragons” and “The Demon Hand.” While I appreciate the episodes before them, these were the episodes that sold me on the show’s direction and are great examples of writing that honors the franchise while intelligently expanding upon it. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

"To the Lighthouse. Had it all tank topped hotness, Cameron doing Terminator things, Skynet, and boob zapping, oh and kneecapping, oh and dude getting zapped in the head. Freaking best ep ever. "Either to the lighthouse or born to run. It was funny to watch the ending of "lighthouse" cause Derek hears Cameron come in, and his face tightens when he hears "Okay, she's down." Then Derek hears him scream and the guy's neck break and Derek smirks. S&D was OK. Why not the best? 1. It basically jumpstarted radical Jameronism with those last lines when Cameron went skynet. UGH. 2. Cameron didn't kill Sarah, but in her termie nature, she should have KOS Sarah. 3. It was good all in all, very good basis for the start of the season 2 main plots. But just wasn't as awe-worthy as many of the EPs. Do you find this valuable? |

Samson & Deliah is the best.Right after that comes "Born to Run", "Self Made Man","Today is the Day, Part 2","Ourseves alone", "Vick's chip" and "The Demon hand". It so hard to pick one, because a like them for many different reasons. But still Samson & Deliah was most memorable and that's why it's my number one. Do you find this valuable? |
