I've been posting this in about as many threads as I can. Hopefully this thread will get noticed and we can all plan further campaigns here. AS for me I'll be sending a letter to WB every week or two and emails in between:Scott.Rowe@Warnerbros.com info@thehalcyoncompany.com Bruce.Rosenblum@Warnerbros.com Peter.Roth@Warnerbros.com Bruce Rosenblum President, Warner Bros. "Boycott T4 and let WB know you're boycotting it because you want T:SCC or nowt.""Constructive" being the word. I know we are all angry, but lets think realistically. Boycotting T Salvation would only hurt our chances as it would show a depreciation for the franchise. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

"Though the news so far is extremely disappointing, let's focus on *constructive* ways to resurrect T:SCC. Please consolidate and post your ideas here!"It's a long shot, I know, but we have to try. Let's email Warner Bros with the following pitch: Air TSCC on SyFy. 24 hours before it airs, make the episode available online for a minimum of $2 (additional donations accepted, if you're so inclined.) You can stream the episode as much as you want, commercial-free, but cannot download it (they need be able to make money off of DVD sales and iTunes as well.) Order a 13 episode season. If additional episodes are ordered, it will be considered a new season with 13 episodes (this is what Josh and co. would prefer.) Discounts available if you pre-order the early episode streaming all at one time. $20 for 13 episodes that you will be able to stream a day early. Find sponsors to aid in the cost of the show that will get a 5-10 second spot at the beginning of the early online episodes stating that they sponsored this episode. They can even have banners and backgrounds on the page as well. Episodes can then be available 24 hours following the broadcast for free streaming with commercials and to buy and download. The way people watching TV is changing. The companies need to change with it. WB could pioneer this and the best way to do this is to start with a show that has the biggest, strongest, and most passionate fan base. So email Warner Bros and let them know that you want this! Scott.Rowe@Warnerbros.com Bruce.Rosenblum@Warnerbros.com Peter.Roth@Warnerbros.com And title it something other than TSCC (but still relating to the content) so they don't just ignore it. [I posted this on a few other threads -- maybe it goes here, too.]For all of you out there lambasting FOX -- I know, I know....it hurts like hell.... and I feel the same way. But... we really don't know the whole story behind all this. FOX just said they're not renewing TSCC. AFAIK, they didn't give the "details" of why. Maybe they really didn't get an acceptable "offer" from WB/Halcyon, on continuing TSCC at FOX. Maybe WB/Halcyon has shopped it around, and found a *potentially* better deal, later (after "Salvation" storms the Box Office). Maybe SyFy, CW are still looking at it, and want to see how the Movie turns out. Or maybe even one of the Big Guys, ABC, etc. And, despite some "Twitterings," I can't believe JF would completely reject any future offers from such sources -- even a "Serenity-type" movie. He's way too smart to do that. It's the booze talkin', I think. So, let's keep it real. The Fat Lady hasn't sung yet! Robby 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

1) Let everybody vent their anger at FOX. Send them an email, and be done with it.2) Get to bugging SciFi/Virgin 1, and Halcyon/Warner. Repeatedly. Over and over again. And again. 3) Watch Salvation. Get more people to see it. Hope that it's a worldwide hit. Then repeat step 2 in light of this success. That's all the 'constructive' ones I can think of for now. We have to realised that we aren't dead yet. Do you find this valuable? |

I to believe that Sci-Fi is our best bet for a come back. They did it with stargate, and they stuck by BSG through low ratings. Plus they are a SCI-FI channel and their biggest sci-fi friday night show (BSG) is now gone. I think it'd be a good business move for them to at least consider TSCC.

Sorry. I have no force to join another e-mail campaign. I have written so many e-mails to Fox, I have spent a lot of my time doing them and I am sure neither of them has ever been read. I don't have enough energy to writte more e-mails.

""Constructive" being the word. I know we are all angry, but lets think realistically. Boycotting T Salvation would only hurt our chances as it would show a depreciation for the franchise. "I appreciate that. I'm not angry - certainly not angry at Fox; they're just doing what they do. I'm disappointed that there'll be no more Cameron/Sarah/Derek/John interplay. For me, boycotting anything Terminator that isn't T:SCC is constructive. WB own both T4 and T:SCC and I want them to know I'm not interested in one if the other isn't available. But that's just me. I realise I'm in a minority. Do you find this valuable? |

"Boycott T4 and let WB know you're boycotting it because you want T:SCC or nowt."WB won't feel a few thousand fans boycotting a successful movie. What we can do is promote the movie and send WB notifications that we're promoting the movie only for the sake of bringing back TSCC in some form, and that way we can claim some of T4's success for ourselves and for TSCC. This is what I have sent to the folks at Warner and also worded just a little differently to SciFi Channel, feel free to copy and paste: To Whom it May Concern: Fox has betrayed it’s fans yet again and canceled the best tv show ever made, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I, as well as millions of other fans will no longer watch anything Fox. We respectfully ask that you help save TSCC by taking it to another network, like SciFi Channel. With the release of Terminator: Salvation, there will be even more interest in anything Terminator and a great opportunity for a partnership with a wonderful network to gain millions of more viewers with TSCC. Please bring back our most beloved characters and give them a chance to stop Judgment Day! Sincerely, Kyrie, a devoted TSCC fan Do you find this valuable? |

I've just created a petition to WB, aimed at getting them to consider a direct to DVD season 3, or at the very least, a direct to DVD feature length finale to give some closure. Please do sign it if you can. http://www.gopetition.co.uk/online/27864.html Direct to DVD was a realm that WB is considering, going as far as creating a division dedicated to DVD media. I think it's worth a shot. Should still pressure SciFi though. Perhaps we can get a slot somewhere in a spring lineup. Do you find this valuable? |

@ KrelleK -- who re-posted (from talli) this in # 4, above:{snip} "Air TSCC on SyFy. 24 hours before it airs, make the episode available online for a minimum of $2 (additional donations accepted, if you're so inclined.). You can stream the episode as much as you want, commercial-free, but cannot download it (they need be able to make money off of DVD sales and iTunes as well.). ______________________ The above, is a great idea -- in addition to all the others in that post. I would add one thing, about the "$2 on-line" fee -- provide some "enhanced content" in this PPV scheme. Wouldn't be too hard to add this -- just include scenes edited-out to fit the time constraints of TV. Thoroughly agree -- "The times, they are a'changin' " -- esp wrt TV/On-line viewing. "It did its job - got people to go watch T4. Nice move. Bye." Anyway - I'm being honest. I don't want to watch T4 because it's not T:SCC. It's not really a protest, I just have no interest in the franchise now. Do you find this valuable? |

We need to perpetuate these numbers and contact details around more than just this wiki. Broaden our scope CONSIDERABLY than we ever did during the run-up to today. Keep sending our emails and ringing the phone lines, but post information to these details on other sites your own, give them to friends that you know like TSCC, and post them on your youtube videos (or just TSCC youtube videos.) We're a big wiki, but preaching to the attending flock is not enough. For instance, ots of people in the UK who watched the show in Virgin 1 don't even seem to know the show's cancelled. Gonna try and rectify that in the coming days. Get their voice to WB and Halcyon primarily, but also cable channels such as Sy-Fy. P.S. I wasn't a Browncoat when it mattered, but how did you guys (I know you're out there) go about getting Serenity? Do you find this valuable? |
