Veran's Fan Videos

So I FINALLY discovered how to make music videos after spending months staring enviously at everyone else's and wishing "I could do that!" Although, my very first one isn't as good as I would like, I will stress that it IS MY FIRST FAN VID EVER!!! Hi Veran.Not bad, not bad at all. Very good indeed ! :-) Although not a great fan of the music you´ve chosen, I liked the scenes and how you joined them. Imagine if Sara was there when they had that Jameron moment? ;-) All in all, a very good start. Keep them coming! Do you find this valuable? |

You know I'm not Jameron, so here's some unbiased constructive criticism. I'd have to say that thematically, the music does not go with the video material very well. "The Day The World Went Away" does not evoke any romantic feelings to me. It's also going to be tough to use that music for a TSCC video, since the T4 video with that song set the bar so incredibly high. You did a couple good smash-cuts right as the heavy music hits, but most of the cuts are far too long during the more powerful parts of the song. The softer interlude part of the song begs for a slower, more story-building clip, but then the faster parts of the song need quicker cuts and more action. Do you find this valuable? |
