"Yeah! Just read the JF Appreciation Thread !I think people have been unfair on him, I think he knew it was over a long time ago. Fox didn't want it, and WB had no interest in the show continuing. What could he do? Do you find this valuable? |

Wow! Sounds like Josh just burned his bridges with Warner Brothers. If TSCC does come back I don't think Josh will be there with it.

I had a feeling he was sad. It takes time to get over the hurt. So now we know the WB treated him like crap after the show was cancelled. Surprised?

wow, he let it all out. None of us can now seriously say we don't know JF's take and feelings on TSCC. There it is, written by his hand, not misquoted by an interviewer, not sanitised for an official TV network blog. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

OK Josh busted his hump, they all did, we all bitched and moaned and blamed and now we all have nothing. He worked hard trying to tell a story that TV wasnt ready for, and now his show is gone. Who knows what the future has in store, but at least he did it his way and for the most part kept it real. Sorry Josh, Sorry Lena, Sorry Summer, Sorry Thomas, cast, crew caterers, none of you have jobs right now, and the hustle begins again, keep your heads up somehow it will all balance out.

Man... maybe we've been too hard on him. I mean I always liked him, especially for bringing the show to us... but maybe we were hard on him for some of the storyline. He loved this show... this shows it! Thanks for everything josh...

"How much of the stories were his? Anyone know?I don't get the idea that Season 1 and Season 2 were so different. It's worth noting 2 things about that, if that seems to be the case. 1. Season 1 was 9 episodes. There would have been episodes people didn't like as much if that had been a full season. 22 episodes is really too much for a season, which is why so many shows are going to 13 these days. Lost had many episodes where it spun it's wheels. X-Files was fortunately able to go off the alien story line completely for episodes at a time. Their one-offs were some of my favorite episodes. 2. Season 2 was greatly influenced by Fox's desire to have it be more episodic and less serialized. That's where the bloody wall came from and why the episodes didn't flow together as they did in Season 1. Having said that, I feel the quality was more or less there throughout, and I've said before I liked all the "Sarah episodes" except for maybe "The Good Wound." 0 out of 1 found this valuable. "22 episodes is really too much for a season, which is why so many shows are going to 13 these days."THAT is NOT the truth! A few years ago there were regularly 26 episodes per season! The only reason for making just 13 episodes (or a season split) is that the network can easily decide about broadcasting a show for another episodes or kill it off to replace it. It really doesn't matter if you have to produce 22 or even 26 episodes of one show, or 2x13 episodes of two different shows (if you have good cast & crew and) regarding the quality. A TV season lasts for about 26 episodes at a certain timeslot. It's about to fill it. Only TV by the numbers - that's what counts! That is our problem today. This killed TSCC. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |
