"Guess who finally updated? It's one of the longest chapters, too. I hope it was worth the wait... I said screw beta reading once again. I did send the half copy to some of you, but it seems there was a problem with the transfer from my blackberry. damn technology. I'm sure you wont' mind after such a long wait anyway. After reading chapter ten a few times I think I picked up on something that hasn't been addressed yet. At thened of the chapter Cameron said they are all in danger, that included Weaver. I can think of only one thing that would be a threat to her, a TX. I think Cameron sent back the triple 8 to warn them it has arrived. It may have subdued and reprogrammed the triple 8. I need thoughts here people. Do you find this valuable? |

I was on the bus this morning heading to work, listening to my ipod, and the tscc theme started playing. My thoughts drifted, and a really great idea for a scene came to mind. I've already told Jim, but I'm planning on writing a little side series of scenes that fans have written, or that I think of after the fact (or just dont fit in) to my main stories. This will be the first of those, and it will be a 'deleted scene' from chapter 10. I'm posting a link to youtube... I just thought I'd give this a bump, and let you know that to make it easier for me, and to hopefully get less emails asking when the hell I'm going to be done with my next chapter, I'm posting my chapters in progress on google sites. This is for anyone who wants to beta read, or just get a sneak peak at the first half of a chapter or so. here's the link if you want. Other then that you're story is good."they were reworded of course. those arent the exact words she said in the movie. the problem i have with almost all jameron fics... no, all tscc fics in general is that Sarah has an issue with how close John is getting to Cameron. Yet, in T2, she admitted that the T101 as a father figure is actually a natural choice. So why the hell isn't Cameron a natural choice for a friend and/or girlfriend figure? This is where Sarah is getting at in this chapter. She's finally making connections, remembering the past, and coming to terms with it all. Yes, it's straight forward, but it's a rough draft. And alone, without the rest of the chapter, it doesn seem to fit well. but it will with part 2 together. Do you find this valuable? |

Here's my two cents: - T2 quoting is too noticeable. Having someone restate one of their most memorable voiceovers is a little meh and doesn't do any service to the character. Reword or discard, IMO. - I'm also not thrilled with beating down the T-X tree. If you have to, make sure it's different enough from T3 to make it original. The T-1001 was brought in as a mysterious ally in the show; and it couldn't be more different from Robert Patrick in the form of Shirley Manson. Not saying it needs to be drastic, but have some fun with it. - I also suspect that you may be going for a cliched "David and Goliath" showdown between the Connor clan and the T-X later on... Again, we've already seen T3. If you got to do it, be as creative with it as you can. - Sarah's interaction with Cameron - she may understand the notion of Jameron, but I don't think she'll ever be perfectly okay with it. She's much more complex than that. Otherwise, keep it up! Some pacing issues here and there, but can't wait to read more. Do you find this valuable? |

first, I have people on both sides of the fence with the T2 lines. Chapter 11 is finished, and in the rewrite process. It's already been redone so it's a moot point. No it won't be updated on the in progress page. In the end, I made my own decision about it.I've said this half a dozen times. Nobody ever said Sarah would be perfectly okay with it. There's a difference between understanding, accepting, and freaking liking it. double edit: Just because I've mentioned TX doesn't mean it's going to be a TX. It could be, or it might be something different. I feel like my story is being judged as cliche and unoriginal before I even get to type it. I wish people would give me a little credit here. Stop assuming and suspecting you know where my story is going. You absolutely haven't a clue. Do you find this valuable? |

Elusive has done a terrific job so far and we should just wait for her to finish future chapters. These are her stories as she envisons the characters from TSCC. She isn't a public utility and we should just patiently wait for her.

I do appreciate all criticism and take suggestions seriously. Lots of people post assumptions of where they think some plots are leading to, but please just trust me in that I'm as much a fan of tscc and the whole franchise... and as much NOT a fan of the bad plots of T3 and T4. I'm using certain elements to tie-in, yes. But I'm not torturing us with the stupid crap none of us liked. Do you find this valuable? |

Regardless of what we all think you're the brillant author who has kept tscc alive for a lot of us. Your story is beyond words and is everything we could have hoped for. I can't wait to read the whole story.

Thank you everyone who keeps reading my story. Chapter 11 is still going through a lot of rewrite. I think this is rewrite number 4. I'm just not getting it right. I'm getting pretty close though. It's the first half that I'm finding unacceptable. I've removed entire scenes and rewritten over and over. By tomorrow I'm going to say screw it and repost part 1. I'll wait a day or so for everyone's input before I post the entire chapter. This is kind of a critical one, and I don't want to frack it up too badly.
