Terminator 5

Actually, McG gave an interview in which he stated that he wanted to set T5 in the year 2011, and have John Connor travel back to 2011, and Skynet sending through terminators, H-K's, harvesters, all of its hardware, and John Connor trying to mobilize the world's governments to stop the invasion from the future. It shows that the guy a) knows nothing of Terminator canon, and b) cannot direct anything but an action scene.

I won't be holding my breath waiting for that one.

Terminator salvation
Yahoo critics C+ movie
Yahoo People B - about 25% people say C,D,F that people will NOT go to t5
Box Office right now very bad....
T5 With same director, same actor, same Writter, will be as good/bad as t5.......
In may opinion a Terminator sarah connor chronicle good movie will have better box office, it will cost less to make and it will be right with Terminator canon...

I hope he includes Daleks in this one.
Sounds like it's something he might consider.

There's a rumor that if MGM acquires the movie rights we are going to get a remake of the original Terminator film because of how badly TS did at the box office. This will be nothing short of awful if it does go down. The only way I can think of this working is if Lena is again casted as Sarah, but even then she looks too old for the role. I guess you could recast Yelchin as Reese because of his spot on portrayal, but who is going to replace Arnold? Roland Kickinger? He was the body stand-in for Salvation -and he does look the part - but this would bastardize the franchise. Do you find this valuable?

Yahoo users B (7422 RATINGS)
I check about 60 pages of yahoo users review, about 25% say C,D,F, it is the tendency in yahoo user.
Yahoo users review is usually good to know what think the people about a movie; therefore I believe that about 25% of the Terminator Salvation Box Office think is C,D,F.

I think the movie aspect of the franchise died with the release of Terminator 3. That horrid movie was a failed attempt at rehashing T2's script, but instead of riding off into and uncertain future, we see Judgement Day, and even that was lame. There is no way I'm going to dish out the cash to go see any more Terminator films, considering how bad T4 is doing at the box office, and at the reviews. From all the hype the trailers put out, I though it would be at least decent, but now I'm not so sure. Maybe I'll give it a once-over when it gets released on TV.

T4 is decent. There are a few things you may have to overlook to enjoy it as a whole. It's certainly better than the trash heap that was T3. I really think it's worth going to see; if only for Worthington and Yelchin. Not to mention, the first single-shot action scene of the movie is amazing. Do you find this valuable?

This is a nightmare. They're basically butchering the franchise now.

If they *have* to make a 5th film, at least hire different writers. And don't let Bale change the story too much.

I would have loved to see the resistance rise from the beginning.John starting it.You know from the bottom.I was never worried about the resistence.Except when John made stupid moves. They looked way too strong. Also the uniforms that the big bosses of the resistence wore..looked out of place,I thought they were soldiers from the second world war. heheh

-Marcus and Blood good...altough their relationship felt a bit forced.Maybe it was love at first sight hehe

-The last part of the movie was the weakest.Bad editing, many unbelievable moments, etc.

I hope they rectify their mistakes for t-5 and wrote the movie like it should be not for just
one actor.

2011... London? What the hell? This will destroy the future of the franchise.

And it is so internal inconsistent it isn't even funny. Are they going off of T3 or TSCC now?

Halycon needs to get its shit together.

T4 Salvation was a great movie. It was not better than the incredible action filled T2 and it does not have
Arnold but it still was a exciting chapter in Terminator. Financially it is doing OK, its not the 1st on its release
weekends , but it was a close second. Thats not a flop. The universal hate of T3 and now supposed terminator
fans hating this movie means one thing, your not a fan of Terminator anymore. There is no comic book or novel
this franchise is based on . Its a changing evolving fight for the future !
edit: It won't surprise me that the go with the same team of writers they have been using since T3. I'm pretty sure
these guys are backed by people like Arnold and others within the franchise. They are trusted to stick to the original
vision or close enough to it to not alienate its fanbase. The outcry over T3 is something seen in other franchises
James Cameron has left like Aliens, some think none can do better than him.....

There's a reason that there's universal enmity for T3; it blatantly ripped off T2 scene by scene while interjecting a heap of awful comedic one-liners. Also, the writers for T3, Brancato and Ferris, have nearly ruined the franchise with wooden dialogue and implausible plot devices. At best, T3 is a parody of the Terminator franchise. 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Its you opinion, and it might be of a lot of vocal cliche haters on the internet, but the people that spend money worldwide on T3 movie and dvd sales spoke otherwise. So the people that count , made T4 happen and so
will be the same with T5 and 6. And the haters can complain, and watch a dvd rip because they don't fit in the
demographic that has a job and has expendable income and usually higher education that all count towards making
movies happen.

T2 was absolutely chock full of corny one liners and just mind numbing cgi and explosions.
I love how haters can take the above statement and use it to love or hate a movie.
That the awesome execution of the action in T4 is a negative ? That is part of what makes a movie
enjoyable. Does it make it a Oscar winner , NO, but can it leave you awed and want to see the movie again, yes.
