"Tuscon, what the hell are you doing?"
Tuscon is just expressing his undying love for me. One day Tuscon will see there is only one for me and HER name is Lena Headey.

"Yeah but Zable time line wise TV is 18 when he makes that jump into the future, he aint a kid no more. And at the rate he is going skipping Jday and crying about Cameron's chip, he is never gonna be battle hardened. That is my point. This John is a lost cause. "
He's 18 now? God, I can't get a grip on how much time has passed in this story... Anyway, it really doesn't matter that much. The calender alone is never going to make him Future John; experience is.

"Another bullshit comment which I'm accustomed to with girlyboy.

Nobody cares for T4 John Connor, haven't you seen the reviews?

Thomas Dekker is better at playing John Connor than Batman did. You're judgment truely stinks man, in every aspect.

I also heard some stuff about how you behave with mods. Seems like you are the begging and crying type. No surprise here, it suits you perfectly. Next time, don't troll my threads anymore because now you see how I react to that.

Grow a pair!"
You know I didnt even read this till now, you are so in love with everything I say. Look I know you have it bad, stalking me all over the wiki concerned about the state of my balls, but come on man, nothing good is gonna come from this, I dont love you, let alone like you. And if you think that I of all people on here have some kind of pull with Mods you are more F'ed in the A than I thought, you realize that you are embarrassing yourself right? I mean I am not the one following you around, take a hint and know that you are not my type. Why dont you go slather yourself up in peanut butter and cry over Allison in Palmdale. You'll feel better.

Yes but with this turn of events of John not leading the resistance this story for me has officially gone the way of crappy fan fiction.

How can anyone expect an 18 year old guy to lead a Resistance? I never even thought for one second that that time line would be allowed to continue. I figured John would get Cameron, maybe grab Derek along the way, and do whatever else they had planned for the Future aspect before returning to the present with Sarah with John now completely aware of JD's implications, his own importance, and what he ultimately faces.

I kinda thought we saw John man up a little near the end, particularly in his confrontation with Jesse. He did seem kinda stoic when he examined the body of his dead girlfriend.

He lost some of that cred in the Ziera basement tho.

Tuscon is an insult to humanity. I am sorry I used peanut butter, but psycho's like to do things like that and I figured he'd feel right home.

Back on topic: Unfortunately nothing new on how the show would have continued. James Middleton does not give us any hopes and is realistic doing so. I admire his passion though. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Agreed, after the scene with Jessie I was starting to think there was hope for John and humanity, then he reverted back to his 10 year old like mentality. I have no faith in John.

Well for the sake of the story I hope you are right, but sooner or later this boy is gonna have to man up.

Neither do I, really and it cause of that retarded choice of jumping into the future for a chip, it was a stupid idea, they keep coddling him, and he keeps being a boy, like I said sooner or later he is gonna have to man up, then and only then will my opinion of him change.

This confirms my S3 speculation from last April. John would have gotten experience as a soldier fighting in the future. He would have grown up and matured. At some point he would have been sent back to 2009 on a vital mission.

Time travel makes a lot of cool stuff possible. John could spend several years in the future fighting as a soldier. Yet, still return to 2009 only minutes after he left. He'd be a battle hardened veteran and not the whiny Emo puke that drove fans nuts in S1 and S2.

I have to agree that T4's John Connor is the real leader of the Resistance but that's only because he's grown up fighting the machines. TSCC's John Connor is still growing up and in my opinion he's more human because of that. He's not a battle-hardened soldier (yet), he's still a teenager and the majority of teenagers these days go through phases (emo, goth etc.) Also TSCC's JC is portrayed as a teen trying to live a normal life but knowing that he can never truly do that - surely that would make anyone depressed/ cry at times. In certain episodes you get to see John showing more leader-ish abilities and I think if we had been given a third season we might have seen John mature into something fairly similar to T4's battle-hardened Saviour. I mean with Riley dead (possibly the only thing making him hang onto a normal life, per say) and with now being in post-apocalyptia, he'd get to see first hand what the horrors of J-Day/ the machines will actually be like. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. We can only hope realised that his fate always was defeating terminators, not dating them.

I also like the mentioning of the "meaningful look" at Allison. That's something worth reading for everyone who wants Allison killed off as quickly as possible because they want to see John and Cameron getting busy.

Here's another link about the writing staff I found on this wiki:

From a generally neutral perspective, "significant look" could mean just about anything really. Hell, he could be describing the way John's face fell after seeing she was Allison. Middleton's phrasing robs it of any concrete meaning for either side, so who knows?

And honestly, why are you mentioning the J/AJ debate with the whole "dating terminators" part anyway? I'd prefer to avoid seeing yet another thread become a shipper war.

"Well I never said TV John was worse than T3 John.....T3 John makes TV John look like Rambo, T4 John didnt cry or drink beer, not sure where you are going with that. "
Sorry for the late reply.
I was at the dentist
(Yes. We do have them in this country... Lousy yanks...)

Anywhere, my point is that heroes aren't born. They're built.
(F**k I love the theatrical trailer for Iron Man.)
Christian Connor didn't become the Dark Knight overnight. He spent his twenties drinking pisswater and crying. Then after fourteen years of nuclear fire and combat, he stops crying (though I imagine he would break into tears if he was able to break the fourth wall and watch Terminator Salvation... or.. you know... if his wife died.)

If you want TV John (sixteen, living in the 2009, and trying to stop Skynet) to act like Christian Connor (thirty something, war veteran, nuclear fire survivor, and growling) then you're fishing into the same basket of rotten apples that McG gathers from when pitching Terminator 5 plots.

It would make no sense for him to act anything like Christian Connor in the circumstances he was in, and it would make no sense for him to suddenly go from "We stopped Judgement Day when Uncle Bob died" to in a night "GRRRRRRRR! STAY THE COURSE". He hasn't been through the same emotional stimuli that turned John Connor into Christian Bale - he hasn't been through anything like it.

(Forgetting that fact that John's transition from boy to "I might just shoot you in the face" is more believable than your wish for him suddenly to become Baleman) At least TV John stepped up to the fight and grew a pair between his legs without the need for nuclear war to wake him up... Conversely, Film John blubbered to the Governator when the SWAT were surrounding him... in his twenties...

@tentotwenty: I always shrugged it off, but I think Tucson is right: you should grow a pair. Stop crying! He has said or done nothing that you have not done yet. Go ahead, insult me. I am not like Tucson nor am I like the Jamerons. I keep my head cool and am not afraid of you. You just yell, shout and insult. Unlike the Jamerons, I do not just take it. They do not realise they are the majority and join eachother against people like you, who insult them without a reason. They are good people and have done nothing wrong, but still you go on and insult the crap out of them. It is not Tucson who provokes bad behaviour. It is you who provokes people into going postal because you keep on insulting people. I know I am going to get s#$t from you right now. I do not care. A barrage of insults from you towards me will be seen as a breach of the CoC and I will report. So bite your tongue. I know you already have a warning. I will not hesitate to report.

@Zable: Have you followed this thing between them? You should ask tentotwenty what the hell he is doing. Quick summary: insult insult insult insult.
