Really going back to basics here which is GREAT. No Derek, cancer, Turk or Cromartie. I think Ellison might rock up eventually, but for now i like the character-driven arc this is taking.

It's great to see a refreshing 'normal' friendship developing, and even Sarah being unsuspecting for the time being. It's like being under a magic spell. I hope when that when the spell 'breaks', it'll be worth it (i can't imagine how disappointed John/pissed off Sarah will be)

I've got high expectations (especially the developing Jameron) for this AU storyline. Keep it up!"

I really enjoyed this chapter, I like the way you changed the story from the original to telling John directly. I think that adds a certain something that can be achieved in written fiction, that would be harder to do with visual.

I like the measured build up to the meetings, and the conversational way they do things.

I hate the use of the nickname "Cam", it makes our girl sound like part of an engine, when we all know she is more than that.

The cliff hanger is okay: provided you don't leave us all hanging there for a blue yonk, our fingernails will crack and we shall fall:)
