I have been writing letters, emails, ect... trying to get our message out there. What we need to do is find someone who can make larger ripples in the media. For example: arnold schwarzenegger. If he spoke up, there would be huge wages in the media, Terminator Fans would joing the resistance and something would happen. Fox would be forced to say something and think about it more. We need to start with any celebrity/media figure we can and work our way up. If anyone knows someone, even if it's a c rate actor, lets get to it. Have them start talking about it.Another thing we can do, write letters to our local and national newspapers. Have them do an article on the Resistance and all that we are trying to do. Let's use all media outlets we can. i just thought of this: lets ask other shows fans to get on board with us, and promise them that if their show is in jeopardy we will step in and do the same. NBC's "Chuck" fans are great and could really help out! Let's fight on Resistance! Do you find this valuable? |

I really appreciate all your thoughts and agree with you. My reply is in 2 parts.In my opinion: the success of saving TSCC depends on uniting the strength of The resistance before we are starting to fade away… Probes are coming to prove we can act true to our beliefs together or not. TSCC deserves its reputation back, it’s not just another „cancelled” show. It’s a piece of art which managed to catch the mind. Our strength is in the numbers. 1. To show WB (or anyone who owns the rights to the franchise) there’s interest in the show: The rallies, sending emails, petitions are necessary steps. WB forum, watching online the episodes, twitter WB is a good thing, also. We need their attention. Or WB could say: they gave us the forum, the episodes and where the fans were? 2. Huge dvdsales: Money speaks more than anything. (big sponsor) 3. Inner man: has contacts.Big names are needed to reassure WB. The most important thing to make the world realize we are an intelligent group or we won't be taken seriously. Remember, we need the support of the media. More people will know about us if we get attention (good for dvdsales, cast, future of the show too). Plus, we can underline our reasons in a polite, diplomatic, encouraging, flattering way (Everyone’s favourite show can be in the same position as TSCC…) This whole campaign is an opportunity to speak up for high standard. Consider awards, nominations, articles and polls (chance to leave a comment), conventions like free advertisements for our campaign. If we can help to get TSCC, the actors into the spotlight, it would do good, also.Without any clever, polite word, TSCC will be left in the shadow... Speak up for quality (for the sake of anything that meant a lot to you from TSCC). I made this objective thread for asking help from all the fans. The main point was to shake up the fans and unit their strength. I truly believe this was a probe: can we act like the resistance or can’t. It was about leaving useful comments for a poll (still running), but I will keep refresh the thread with any new ideas (I’m putting them on my first message) where we need to show the strength of the resistance. Now you can find the links for the threads of TCA, TWOP-nominations (for ex. one nom. best returning show-category). Not Emmys, but still great opportunities for declaring your opinion. Then the articles… And go on. Every information, any input of yours are welcome and appreciated. We need to take part in more bigger steps. Sarah said: "In war, unlike chess, rules can be changed. Hey peoples,Don't just vote online. Put your money behind it! I have probably said enough for one week, but I think we will have to be reminded for the next few months and maybe the next three years (have a read of some of the stuff I have posted to see why). I think money will become a very important way to voice our support and we need to get everyone behind it. We need to get this etched into our psyche. It must become our personal mission in the coming months. People have been voting and writing letters, but I think we need to go further than that. I believe we need to make a personal attempt to finance Season 3. This is a big ask. Some of you may think it's too hard, but it's been done before. Star Trek Enterprise fans have succeeded in raising $3 million. If they can do it, so can we. American banks have royally screwed the American people by offering home loans to people who could never have been able to pay off the mortgage, and lending money to people for other things when they certainly didn't have the income. Talk about optimism. They certainly went too far. Bad timing ain't it? The great banks collapsed just when Season 2 aired and that's when the economy, businesses and the employment situation started going downhill. But let's not lose hope. Some of us have the power to bring TSCC back (and it may even create some jobs, who knows?). If it's not FOX or WB, it's just going to have to be us. Wish us luck that we either succeed or go far enough to impress the world. If we can't have a TV show for an exciting adventure, we can at least have the challenge of trying to raise funds to bring it back. This will be a substitute for Season 3. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I will keep this thread refreshed with the newest missions for all of us in no.reply1 with important links to other threads, sites, also. And you can find here many useful ideas which need the resistance. Consider this as a strategy. We started this with small thing (eonpoll. Why is it still running?) and we managed to unit our strength. We made clear our point of view with the comments to the world. As time goes by we will make bigger clever steps. If all of us stick together and remain supporting us intelligently, TSCC's reputation will be back. Otherwise....you know, the strength is in the numbers. TCA-award ceremony has got high importance for our case. You all know the reasons... TWOP is really impressed with TSCC. Anyway, I hope we can show the rest of the world an impressive picture, also. THIS IS OUR BEST CHANCE RIGHT NOW TO HELP WIN BACK TSCC !!!! After the Academy Awards and the Emmys, the Teen Choice Awards are the next biggest thing. They air later this summer on Fox. If we can win this, it will make huge news all by itself. Winning the TEEN CHOICE AWARDS is bigger right now than anything else. You can lie about your age, and register with all your email addresses and then vote every day with each email address. Voted. Can't believe that Lena Headey was actually in the "Worst American accent" category. I had no idea she had an accent until I heard the interviews and commentaries of Season 1
