Thank you for all your useful information.We can show what a strong resistance can achieve. We have been waiting for so long for the attention of the media. Now, they are watching us (fandex) whether there's a real interest from our part. Show them we are speaking up for quality together. We can get the reputation back. Clever words can not be denied. Stick together...More probes are coming... Value any chance we've got to get TSCC into the spotlight and to express your opinion about it (polls, voting, leaving comments, imdb etc.). These are like free ads. TSCC can't be left in the shadow... TSCC has given us so much we can be proud of. I will try to put any new suggested links to no.1 reply... This is a strategy started with small steps and now bigger steps are coming. We are noticed, so don't give up. Everybody is needed. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

So we have many different campaigns running for that. But still one left. A very important site: imdb.com It's not just a site which offers information about films, series and stars for users. It's also used by professionals because IMDbPro offers them a unique platform for contact lists, company directories, industry news, rankines, film rights etc. IMDb also collects information like visits for a site and gives professionals detailed information about ratings. Sure, decisions which get made by companies aren't based on IMDb but the MOVIEmeter is an indicator for them. Not to waive that IMDb is in most cases one of the first results on google if somebody googles for a movie or series. So my suggestion is to campaign that site too. We should show them that the most favoured show/story in the Terminator franchise is TSCC! So follow the link and register you there (it's free), rate TSCC here and write useful and intellectual comments about the series for other visiters of IMDb. But please don't just post comments like: "Bring us TSCC back!", "Save TSCC! Best series ever!" or "We wanna see more Summer Glau!".... Those posts would be just contra productive. Then you can post the link for TSCC on IMDb in other TSCC or Terminator related forums and polls. If we rock another poll again and people don't know as much about TSCC we have a chance that they will visit IMDb cause of a link or google search result. And last but not least if TSCC has good ratings and comments maybe some people will get interested in it too. No fate but what we make." 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

All freshed links in no.1 reply.This is like a chess play. Strategy, tactics and flavourable opinion about us is needed. Others need to know our reasons and you know: the strength is in the numbers. As I mentioned in the beginning, we began this with small steps. The situation with that poll couldn’t be called usual… But it was a chance for uniting our strength and starting to act together again. Then we continued with bigger steps and more and more important probes are coming. All of these efforts (even the small ones) should be taken seriously, because they are not just ways of passing the time. Everything is an opportunity for a public statement. The goal was from the first moment: to show and prove the world the audience of TSCC is an intelligent group who expects some respect. It’s about giving voice to the principles we are not willing to be satisfied with less quality. Without any detailed sign (comment for any published site –article, poll, nominations, forum etc.) how can it be possible? For example although these nominations are not Emmys, still every fanbase of others shows was warned to win them. If these are so important for them, for us they are not? We can’t help Saturn, but these awards depends on only fanvotes…For us they are free advertisements, not only award ceremonies. Now a new measurement system tracks fan interest in popular shows. This way dedication, popularity and profitability can be measured. This effect dvdsales, advertisements, sitetraffic. This is pure business. And more and more articles are published about this. They made a forum, online watching, now an article…these can be used for our advantage. These are direct, public communication channels of showing them interest in big numbers. And finally, after serious planning there comes the time of real billboard. http://terminatorwiki.fox.com/thread/3011246/promoting+TSCC+and+our+efforts...+ON+A+BILLBOARD%21%21%21 All these efforts are because TSCC has changed the view of television...It fulfilled the hope that there's a place for heavy material.This is about expressing the need for quality and speaking up for recognizing it, recognizing what TSCC has achieved. And maybe more people will be curious about TSCC… Publicity and engaging opinion is needed and can’t hurt. But most importantly, TSCC can get its well-deserved reputation back. It's not enough talking about something, the quality of talking counts the most. TSCC makes people think about serious questions...and leads to intellectual, hot discussions. The audience’s talking about TSCC hasn't lessened, the fruitful discussions are still continuing... TSCC has achieved the attention of educated persons. Its audience has come from the terminator-films and non-terminator world and they managed to find something common unique in the show. It's undeniable that there were previous expectations...But who listened to TSCC carefully, he/she received a thought-provoking piece of art. It has managed to find a common language . We all watched it for different reasons but our love for TSCC is common. Sarah said: „In war, unlike chess, rules can be changed. On August 10 Fox broadcasts the TEEN CHOICE AWARDS We need EVERY Resistance fighter to vote EVERY day THIS IS OUR BEST CHANCE TO WIN BACK TSCC ! So, quite long time have passed. I think, we should decide what to do with our weekly internet rallies. Because now, on WB and SyFy forums we're not impressive at all. Also I see, that some people continue to do rally at SyFy on Fridays. But this rally was cancelled a long time ago. It can be concluded, that we have total disorder in the rows of Resistance.I think, that idea to implement one single global Rally remains the best. It will help us to stick together and to gain power, which can be enough to hit TV networks' forums so strong, that they could feel it. Also it will help to easier engage new members of the Resistance. Unfortunately, ED1971PA can't help us now, so we need to be initiative without him. Last weeks on Rallies, I saw, that most fans are not from USA. But I suppose, that the biggest number of Resistance fighters should be americans. So, we anyway have to orientate the day and time to be suitable for USA. Now we need somebody, who live there to tell, what time is good, when most people are at home and could take part in our efforts. Here is the plan, how I imagine our next steps: 1. We need to find somebody who can become a leader. A person to take the responsibility to organize the Rally, to communicate with admins, to write instructions what to do to others and to be the most active poster during Rally. To do all what ED1971PA did. Of course, not only by himself, we'll help as much as we can. Well, I think, it would be better, if this person was from USA also. 2. Define the date and time of the Global Internet Rally. 3. Compose the short and easy to understand instruction, what to do during global Rally. 4. Post the instruction in many places. Ask admins of savethescc.com to post it there also. Ask admins of SyFy forum to rename the description of the Rally thread to reflect the change of the day and time. Do you find this valuable? |

this is the continuation of the prevoius post...5. Establish the weekly private message sending to all members of Wiki, the day before Rally day, asking not to miss Rally. I don't know, if I sound clear enough. Just to make more people to understand, I repeat it shortly. The main goal of the only one Rally per week, is not to confuse people with different days, times and aims. The single Rally will allow us to write the short and clean instructions, easy to understand by everybody. Thanks to this instruction, we'll have a possibility to spread info about our effort very widely. Thanks to stability of the date, this instruction will stay eligible for a very long time. Thus, the more people read it, the more our quantity will become. And this is our goal, what we really need now. Do you find this valuable? |
