Favorite Episode of T.T.S.C.C.?

Mine was the pilot episode (as most pilots are often the best of any series, as this is what determines whether the show will become a series or not). It was also nice getting to know the old characters again, as well as the new, and getting a feel for the show for the first time. The first ep. of the second season, "Samson & Delilah", and the finale, "Born To Run" were also excellent. They were action packed and defined the most interesting parts of the show, in my opinion. Too much drama tends to bore the audience (unless soap operas are your thing lol). The cliffhanger at the end of the finale still bothers me, however. Why would John go with that crazy red-headed liquid metal Terminator to the future whom he barely knows, against the wishes of his Mother so easily? Was he really that foolish? Or, just impetuous? That part made no sense to me.

So, I'm curious what the consensus is among the Fans here at the forum is? What's your fav. ep. and why?

I'd have to say Samson and Delilah, Alison from Palmdale, and the combination of Adam Raised Cain on into Born to Run. Do you find this valuable?

Well, mine was definitely "Samson and Delilah." It had everything: action, excitement, drama, grief, anticipation, and romance. And all the characters got a good showing, with Sarah actually being the primary one keeping John alive for once, John making his own giant leap, and Cameron had some of her most intense scenes of the series.

The Pilot easily ranks as my second favorite for many of the same reasons I mentioned for "S&D." These episodes had the drama that was so common in the S2, but they had action to balance it out, so it worked much more effectively. Some of my other favorites include "Queen's Gambit" and "Gnothi Seauton." To be honest, it's hard to pick individual episodes after these since there are parts of some that are fantastic, but the rest of the episode isn't as good.

As for "Born to Run," it was a fantastic season finale, but a terrible series finale. Loved the suspense and plot twists. But I also hated how heavily damaged Cameron was by simple small arms fire; it should have taken a lot more. Seriously, a car bomb barely damaged her, excluding one extremely lucky fragment hit. And as for John's actions, well, children have to grow up and make their own decisions eventually. He can't follow his mother's lead forever. And based on the events of the episode, John jumped to the future to save Cameron. it may have been one of the crazier things he did, but people do crazy things for those they care about, for good or bad.

Yeah, my I really liked the Pilot, Samson & Delilah, and Allison from Palmdale.

I thought Born to Run was a very interesting hour, but I thought it felt a little disjointed, like they were trying to do too much. And some of the scenes didn't make too much sense, like the get-into-bed-and-cut-Cam's-chest scene, much as I found it titillating. Didn't seem to fit the pace of the rest of the series.

The season two premiere, "I love you John, and you love me'. It was the seed that planted all the problems for this series.

I liked all the Sarah centric epsidoes, well maybe Desert Cantos was little too, how can i put this, well lets just say it wasnt the best eps in S2.

My favorite eps for S2 are Some Must Watch and To The LIghthouse.
Why?...cuz Sarah Connor really kicked ass the whole bitting her wrist and killing winston moment...just awesome.

it did, that part with cameron punching the car was cool. the opening sequence with the shirley Manson song, also cool.
It was good until, I love you and you love me. I really didnt get a reaction out of it untill weeks later, when I saw that the show was going shipperville on us. which would have been fine, if it had not been for Jameron being completely boring, and taking up long chunks of screentime.

hmmm... i felt that they hardly spent ANY screen time on Jameron. A 30 second scene every two or three episodes was certainly tolerable even to this AJ.

They could have just written an interesting romance, instead of trying to seduce john in his little speed racer bedroom set.
