denkiva	TSCC SEASON 3: YOU WRITE THE STORY! Jun 19 2009, 11:53 PM EDT This is a story challenge! Can we keep the Sarah Connor Chronicles going? This is the challenge: Each person writes a part of the story, the next person picks it up and goes from there, you can write a line, a quote, a paragraph or much more. The rules: NO FLAMING! NO INSULTING! NO RANDOM KILLING OF CHARACTERS! This post will be edited and offending replies removed: KEEP IT PG-13!! AND THE WIKI CODE OF CONDUCT STILL STANDS!!! RECAP: When we left our heroes: Cameron's chip is now in John Henry, and John Henry is gone! Ellison and Sarah are still in the past. Weaver revealed that she wanted to fight Skynet. John Connor and Weaver are in the future. John meets future Derek and Kyle and perhaps Cameron or Allison. Now the story is in your hands... Who will start season 3! He shivered in his coat. John watched Derek, awestruck. Derek looked him over, into his eyes. "Look in his eyes. He's got about as much metal in it as you do." "Derek," John was finally able to speak. "Yeah?" Derek waited expectantly, showing no sign of recognition. "...John." Still nothing. "John Connor." "I know a lot of people kid. Don't know you." Derek told him curtly. John couldn't believe it, even as Derek turn his head back and called out, "Anybody heard the name, 'John Connor'?". Everybody slowly shook their heads. Derek gave a little shrug and turned back to John. "Well. You know what." Derek looked past John, behind him. "I think you're gonna be famous. My brothers back, and you're wearing his coat." John turned his head, feeling like he was in a dream. A group of Resistance soldiers were walking towards them. And at the head of the group... Kyle... Reese. Derek's brother. His father. The two of them made eye contact, and it was as if there was some connection between them. John willed some kind of recognition into his fathers eyes, anything, but all he saw was wonderment. And then he saw her. Cameron. But even as he watched her, stepping out from behind his father, kneeling down to give one of the dogs a playful scratch, he knew it wasn't her. And as she looked into his eyes, he knew: the Cameron he knew, and the girl he saw, he could only save one of them. About this time, John felt a swift blow to his head. Kyle Reese gave a bit of a grunt as he knocked John out cold with the butt of his gun. Looking up at his brother, Kyle said: "Who the hell let him have my coat?!" One of the resistance soldiers steps up and stops beside Derek, his laser rifle at the ready, looking down at the unconscious John Connor, "So, what do we do with him?" he asks. "We'd better take him back to H.Q. and find out who he is. He may be human, but he could have been sent here by metal." The soldier salutes and grabs one of John's arms, as another of the resistance grabs his other, and they drag the naked John Connor down the tunnel. Derek watches as they leave and scratches his chin, muttering to his brother Kyle, "There is something familiar about that kid." Post reply 10 out of 10 found this valuable. "John Henry was talking about a kid named John Connor, he's supposed to be a big part of the war." "What would the leader of the Machine Faction want with that kid?" Said Alison. Derek, Kyle and Allison continue to ask John Connor questions, it's not that they don't find something they like about him, but that he seems out of this world. They even let this kid stay with them, but they can't shake that something is odd about him, so they keep their distance. And then one day, in perhaps a way of proving his loyalty he approaches Derek and volunteers for a mission, for a dangerous mission. Post reply 8 out of 8 found this valuable. For the moment I'll just call it collaborative writing. Just then, another resistance fighter, Emily, speaks out, "Derek! Kyle! You need to see this!" Derek and Kyle follow Emily's voice and see her standing at the rim of a saucer shaped hole in the cement from where John had just entered this time line. With a look of panic and great surprise Derek asks, "Kyle, what do you make of this?" Kyle responds, "I don't know, but we need to find out more." Jun 20 2009, 10:50 AM EDT \| Post edited: Jun 20 2009, 10:52 AM EDT After Sarah watched how her son is gone with weaver, She fled with ellison meanwhile the Zeira Corp facilities was falling. later, she's running on a Jeep with elllison. she was shocked. with her sight on the road driving thru the desert, suddenly she went out the road and stoped on an abandoned gas station. she stop the car and look into ellison. she said Sarah: " Now you believe in me?" Ellison: "I believed in you all the time, since that machine killed 20 of my FBI agents that day. since then, i try to understand what happened. to prove what you said is real. the end is down the corner and we're too blind to see it." Sarah:" Now you can comprehend why I protected my son too much" Ellison: "yup, but in the end you let him go" Sarah: "I got no choice, he's growing and becomes a man. the man who saves the world" Ellison: "there is something I don't understand, why Cameron did it?" Sarah: "I don't know, to somewhere they can't find me, even you " Ellison: "So this is the end of the road, you're going to left me here in the middle of nowhere?" Sarah: "Will you join me? you are the only one who knows the truth" Ellison: "Yup. I will" So they resume the ride into the desert, to mexico. She had friends, friends with guns and all she need to stand up the fight. In the night, a lightstorm shines on the road and a thunder rumbles all around. suddenly a shining lightball appears on the highway and a human corpse rises from there... a terminator once again sent him back in time. his mission, unknown. It' was Weaver, in her impeccable white dress and British accent. "What the!....it's a metal!" They all draw their guns. Weaver says coolly, "Don't shoot. I am on your side. I've brought you John Connor from the past, alive. He is your son, Kyle. Skynet found him. They almost killed him. I saved his life. I brought him here to you. He knows how to win this war. "Cameron's body is still in the past!" John shook his head to try to snap himself out of his reverie. Derek asked, "Are you okay?" "Yeah, its nothing". John said quickly still trying snap himself back to reality. She was Cameron. . .almost down to the last detail. But the dog, the way she moved, the way she seemed. . .it was all wrong. It was too. . .natural. Derek went onto the introductions, "Hey Kyle, the naked kid with your jacket calls himself John. . .John Connor. John, this is my brother. He is the commander of our outfit." John reached out his hand trying his best to not let his eyes linger on the mirror image of Cameron. "Hi, I'm sorry for your jacket. I kinda of stumbled into your safehouse." Derek starts firing and some of the other soldier too. John yells "STOP IT YOU FOOLS!" as Weaver took the bullets just standing there and watching. As all of them stopped firing Weaver replied calmly: "I consider this a NO. I should take this personal, but as you are human you might not be able to think as logically as I do. If I wanted to kill you, you would be already dead. Everyone of you!" Weaver smiled. edit I continued after finkey. Accidently draconisz was a little faster ... Polyergic	18. RE: TSCC SEASON 3: YOU WRITE THE STORY! Jun 20 2009, 1:23 PM EDT I don't see how this will result in a good story.. I'd rather start sketching out some big-picture points, like what's weaver's agenda, what happened between Cameron & John Henry, what's Cameron hoping with giving up her chip (and, isn't her personality stored in that chip? did she take over John Henry's body, and does that mean it's possible to put John Henry in control of her body? Who helped with that?), that sort of thing. Also, AFAIK we don't know the rules about time travel - are there alternate timelines? If you get into the "wrong" timeline is it possible to get back? It seems to me Weaver's the same as said "the answer is no" in the sub; She's a rogue terminator that's gone to the past to try to prevent the war by changing skynet so it cares about humans from it's beginning, and John Henry is part of her efforts to figure out how to do that. I don't understand the trip to the future, but I suspect it's not far enough into the future for John to have become the leader - which would mean Kyle still has his coat. Maybe this trip is how the resistance gets tipped off that the machines are working on time travel, and John goes back to the past.. or maybe there's enough time before the machines get time travel for him to rise to power without ever going back. Either way, I like the idea of John Henry, perhaps with help from Ellison, taking over a different body (e.g. the one thrown from the balcony), and growing into Weavers idea of preventing the war by changing skynet, but without Weaver he can't do it fast enough, so war starts in the familiar way, but John Henry works from within skynet to help the humans, including making the T2 terminator available to the humans, and eventually creating Weaver. Alternatively, with John Connor missing, John Henry could take on his name, and lead the resistance. Maybe he could do both at once. Post reply 9 out of 10 found this valuable. " We know from "Complications" that there are. Jesse and Derek came from two different timelines. Jesse came from one in which Derek was tortured by Fisher, who worked for Skynet, a reality in which Derek was obsessed with revenge. Derek came from a reality in which those events never occurred.
