Now we're going bigger. The idea: a mobile billboard that drives around Los Angeles (with special attention to places like The WB headquarters) advertising our show and our efforts. We're currently working on a mockup of the design that will go on the billboard, which will be posted here once complete. If you cannot donate via Paypal or credit card but still want to contribute to the billboard fund, please contact me at aelysian@savethescc.com The details: Time: Three days (minimum) = 24 hours Size: 10'H x 20'W (that's 3.048m x 6.096m) Cost: $750/day + $1250 setup = $3500 We want to coincide the billboard with the release of the Season Two DVD/Blu-Ray in the United States, so once production time is factored in, the fundraising deadline is: August 20th 2009 Any questions? I think we should contact other terminator fan sites and mention what we are trying to do. That's a nice page. I added the donation widget to it and I think it's important to give credit where credit is due... this is the savethescc.com's campaign and the wiki shouldn't try and take credit for it. I know we're all working together for more TSCC and everything, but it's just respectful to mention their website since they are doing this campaign. A lot of people spend a lot of time coming up with these ideas and the logistics of everything, so... yeah.Otherwise... awesome work and wooot! woot! We're at $1290!!! Do you find this valuable? |

Great! now what are we going to put on it? It must be recognizable as a "SAVE TSCC" fan made thing. we can't let it look like something WB put out. It should be plain and blunt (be polite, and no inside references) everyone who sees it has to know what it is for. Also put our Wiki website on it.Is anyone here a graphic design artist? Yes alert the press. and have Wiki members one seen all day taking pictures and video. Also you should check to make sure that the billboard won't violate any laws or anything like that. Do you find this valuable? |
