God I am such a basterd for filling my External drive with Movies and CDs and Shows. What was I thinking? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

"Don't be sad have you read the latest news, The pirate bay will actualy pay users for hosting their content as part of a worldwide peer-to-peer network. The idea kinda sounds neat, but I'm not sure at all that it's workable. Let's see... Where will they get the money to pay both the file-sharers and the content industry? What makes them so sure that the industry will sign up for this? And most important... they speak as if it's a given that the entire TPB community will stay at the site and participate in this. That's a heavy assumption. I'm reading an article about this now, let's see what it has to say. Edit: Ok, read the article*. Raises pretty much the same concerns I did. *http://torrentfreak.com/a-glimpse-at-the-pirate-bays-uncertain-future-090701/ Do you find this valuable? |

"We're not living in a fantasy land."The so called fantasy land has a name, actually: "2009". The real world is commonly referred to as "198x". It seems people who live in 198x have some trouble adjusting to the ways things work in 2009. Some of them think this causes them to lose money, so they go whining to the state; asking them to wind back the clock, so we can all go back to that wonderful place where their business model wasn't hopelessly outdated. Or something. Anyway, I'm definitely with Gusar on this. Do you find this valuable? |
