I'll just be using this thread from now on to update the Wiki on the latest efforts of SavetheSCC.com

Two new things going on... Cameron's Chip and Local Viewing Parties.

Cameron's Chip. We are currently in the process of negotiating the production of USB 2GB flash drives customized to look like Cameron's chip. It'll cost $19.95 + tax and shipping. We've got a poll going on right now to determine how many people would be interested in buying said product.

Will there be a copy of Cameron on the chip?

And if I put it in the USB slot of my computer will I have Cameron on my computer - some sort of Cam OS?

I've already posted this in the german thread, but here goes:

If you look at the design of the USB-Chip, you can estimate the size of the whole thing. It's nowhere near the original! It looks like it's almost twice the size of the original Cameron chip.
I think it would be better if these golden contacts at the end would be the real USB plug.

I don't know if that's even possible, but it's worth a try. Maybe Schmacky can ask the manufacturer if they can make something like that. Do you find this valuable?

It's a big bulk order, it's a lot of money to order that first batch. Someone is going to take the hit personally and buy the first one, so we'd like to know honestly who would buy one. Because if people won't buy it, we won't get it. Do you find this valuable?

That was a pretty rapid shift of votes.
The poll doubled its total number of votes in about twenty minutes, and almost all of those new votes went for "no".
Gusar's could be onto something. Do you find this valuable?

When I edited my first post to say "I CAN SEE MY HOUSE!!", it was 40 for and 0 against.
Twenty five minutes or so later, it was 47-47. Do you find this valuable?
