"Suggestion:

Why don't you PM the guy instead of asking him publicly?

Not like he'll tell you anyway. You're asking for major spoilers."
We have already done that. No response.

Ummm.....that was actually just directed at Ninelives. It wasn't about whether this McG was the real deal or not.

I'm sure you would announce it when you found out one way or the other.

You would right?

Right?

Do I have to switch to my pirate persona to get an answer?

Right to what? Having to switch to a pirate accent or announcing it's really McG?

(I kid. I know you mean announcing it's really McG)

All I'm ready to admit is that Terminator 5 is going to happen and is being fought for by all of us behind-the-scenes. We're not going to drop production on this because of these hiccups, so all you guys who saw T4 and want more can rest easy. No spoilers though, for now...

I'm sorry that this is all I have to give, for now. It has been a busy day for me, as I'm sure you'll all appreciate, and there's not much to report as of yet.

Spread the word, Terminator'll be back.

Hey, we have/had a Producer that not only quit, but told us to quit also. Hmmm, as if he'd never read that the mantra of the T verse is "no Fate But What We Make."

Seems like if we're gonna back someone, it might as well be a FAN.

And McG: if you'd brought in some "Good Fellas" to your cast and crew and let them know that you have already paid them 15 large as a down payment to "take care of" anyone that leaks information about your production, T4 would have had a completely different persona!

...Not saying I agree with the direction you were going in, but at least you'd have solved the "rat" problem!

You have my word on that, friends.

Can you please just give it up?

You ruined the last one bad enough.

Lets have a season 3 of the show instead, at least it had more of a point not a mindless cgi explosion fest

Welcome

If you are McG

You are doing a good job joining this wiki, TSCC Wiki is the bigger Terminator Fan place on internet, you can learn a lot about Terminator fans here.

It is going to be hard because many people dislike Termination Salvation here.

you can find good and bad critics in this thread ( most bad) and some good ideas I hope

"The rights to the Terminator film franchise will be auctioned this month in a deal that will test Hollywood intellectual property valuations at a time when film industry profits are under pressure from falling DVD sales.

The sale, which comes weeks after the rights to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were sold for $60m – and is likely to exceed that – has sparked considerable interest because Terminator is a rare example of a blockbuster film franchise not controlled by a big studio.

Read the rest here:

One would assume that since all of these companies who would bid on the franchise are publicly owned, they would have to prove to their shareholders that spending this much money, in these economic times would reap some sort of profitable financial return.

So more Terminator is most likely.

"Halcyon owns certain elements of TSCC. Those items that are a part of the T-franchise would fall under Halcyon. However, any new characters, or plot lines introduced in the show would fall to WB.

"
TSCC is a product

TSCC DVD sale say this = TSCC have market =

I know business people, they are going to make a deal, Terminator Right owners and WB to make money with TSCC.

New terminator right owner or old ( halcyon )

TSCC DVD sales are good enough to speak about:

DVD movie
DVD movies (MANY DVD MOVIES)
BOOK / NOVEL
COMIC

plus Terminator Salvation Box Office was weak, Terminator World cannot lost customers right now, We TSCC Fans are customers of Terminator World keep death TSCC only helps to lost customer of Terminator world.

TSCC DVD SALES SAY THIS - TSCC FANS ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE -

Peace and keep the faith

Okay bud, I've dealt with the mindless explosions arguement elsewhere recently on this wiki (one of the top threads here now).

T5 and TSCC are - as for all I/we know - two different commercial vectors, still owned by the same company.

We get that you're a TSCC fan. Duh, look at the name of this wiki. But McG did T4, and it did what, rough numbers $200 million? Do the math. They brought in someone who "experimented" with the 25 year/$1 billion success of the franchise, and it failed. I don't think they'll stray away from what works!

The good news is they make get smarter and bring some of us loyal fans a bit closer into the process that creates what will be scene, since the closer they get to the target, the more success is assured.

That hasn't happened yet in this industry, but it could. And for any that don't believe that, just look at the USA President: that was not a conversation on ANYONE'S lips 18 months ago...and now it has become a reality.

On a wider view, separating these two from each other was just plain dumb. Bad, bad marketing. TSCC should be DVD movies that keep interest for the big Hey Now! blockbuster that comes out every few years. IMO.

T4 hasn't made money. It's lost money. And there's at least as much hate for McG's version as there is praise. Not good.
