Yes, Fox has brought many good shows since its beginning. The Sarah Connor Chronicles is one of them. I do wish and hope for a season three. There were too many loose ends on the last episode.
Please Fox, don't terminate the show just yet. At least one episode of movie to end where it left off.

I came up with this theory because I firmly believe there is a human component to Cameron. Wether that is from traveling to the past and getting to know the younger John Connor or something else is unknown due to the lack of a third season. I know most of you believe this issue has been laid to rest but please bear with me on this one :)
In the 2nd season episode "Allison from Palmdale" Cameron suffers chip damage and begins seeing her interrogation of Allison. Well my theory is that Cameron is Allison I know, I know. Catherine Weaver can take on any form right? My thought is that Catherine was the one interrogating Allison and that Allison herself is actually an advanced terminator with human capabilities who is working with Future John. This could explain why she has familial stories, but some parts of her are still robotic if you watch closely. I think her chip has malfunctioned and she believes she is completely human, but her allegiance to JC still remains, causing her to withhold important information. Later we see Catherine/ fake Cameron snap "Allison's" neck after she finds out she lied to her. However in AFP we see a parallel through "Cameron" strangling Jody and not killing her. This may prove that "Allison" was not killed, just injured and survived to escape. However, the damage from Catherine/fake Cameron's attack may have caused damage to her chip causing her to want to kill John, which failed. With Future JC realizing that something is wrong with advanced terminator "Allison's" chip, he reprograms her, erasing her memory. This would establish him "building" "Cameron" in the sense that he gives her that name. He then gives her the mission of protecting his younger self and mother in the past because he knows from previous experience that he can trust her. But her chip malfunctions in AFP she begins to relive her experiences before being reprogrammed.

A group of researchers, at Northeastern University, have developed several portable robotic devices to aid in the rehabilitation process of stroke victims. These devices are small enough for patients to continue rehabilitation at home, thereby cutting down on the number of visits to the rehab center... http://www.physorg.com/news177334289.html
Can you imagine if one of these devices goes terminator on an unsuspecting soul? How would Skynet use this device? Attach them to people to create armies of cyborgs?

..a small group of computer scientists may have hit on a new neural supercomputer that could someday emulate the human brain's low energy requirements of just 20 watts--barely enough to run a dim light bulb...
the Neurogrid fits in a briefcase and runs on what amounts to a few D batteries, or less than a watt. Rather than transistors, it uses capacitors that get the same voltage of neurons. Boahen has so far managed to squeeze a million neurons onto his new supercomputer, compared to just 45,000 silicon neurons on previous neural machines. A next-generation Neurogrid may host as many as 64 million silicon neurons by 2011, or approximately the brain of a mouse. This new type of supercomputer will not replace the precise calculations of current machines. But its energy efficiency could provide the necessary breakthrough to continue upholding Moore's Law, which suggests that the number of transistors on a silicon chip can double about every two years. Perhaps equally exciting, the creative chaos from a chaotic supercomputer system could ultimately lay the foundation for the processing power necessary to raise artificial intelligence to human levels. http://www.popsci.com/node/40756/?cmpid=enews111209 By 2018 or sooner, Skynet will have the software ready to insert into that neurogrid. Isn't technology fun?

In work that someday may lead to the development of novel types of nanoscale electronic devices, an interdisciplinary team of researchers at the California Institute of Technology has combined DNA's talent for self-assembly with the remarkable electronic properties of carbon nanotubes, thereby suggesting a solution to the long-standing problem of organizing carbon nanotubes into nanoscale electronic circuits...
DNA origami is a type of self-assembled structure made from DNA that can be programmed to form nearly limitless shapes and patterns, such as smiley faces or maps of the Western Hemisphere or even electrical diagrams. Exploiting the sequence-recognition properties of DNA base paring, DNA origami are created from a long single strand of viral DNA and a mixture of different short synthetic DNA strands that bind to and "staple" the viral DNA into the desired shape, typically about 100 nanometers (nm) on a side... "DNA is the perfect molecule for recognizing other strands of DNA, and single-stranded DNA also just happens to like sticking to carbon nanotubes," says Han. "So we mix bare nanotubes with DNA molecules in salt water, and they stick all over the nanotubes' surfaces. However, we make sure that a little bit of each DNA molecule is protected, so that that little portion doesn't stick to the nanotube, and we can use it to recognize DNA attached to the DNA origami instead..." The real benefit of the approach, he points out, is that self-assembly doesn't just make one device at a time. "This is a scalable technology. That is, one can design the origami to construct complex logic units and to do this for thousands or millions or billions of units that self-assemble in parallel... http://www.physorg.com/news177073039.html Wouldn't it be interesting if Cammie has a cybernetic nanotube structure that is based on Alison's DNA?

Just finished watching the pilot, and I'm impressed. It's different than the rest of the ST series, and seems to have a really great cast.
If you're seen it; what's your opinion of it?

Does anyone else have any sympathy at all for Jesse's cause? I'm not saying it is right or wrong but I can see how her faction thinks. Most of humanity wiped out by an enemy more heartless and deadly than any in history, and Connor has it in his house. Trying to make peace instead of putting it down. The fact that it is Cameron is only going to make things worse. If the metal looked like Cromartie or Vick there would probably be less resentment. Just think of the worst atrocities of war in human history and multiply them. That is what motivates Jesse.
I mentioned this in another thread, then realized how volatile a subject it might be. I'm starting this thread so I don't hijack the other with a flame war.

I wish it would have a better plot, a story with some thoughtful complexity, well expressed and well executed. I don’t have a story in mind; I don’t have the skill of a good writer. But I know we do have good writers here on the wikis and maybe you will throw out some ideas. I have read some really good stories in the fan fics.
The scenes I liked best in the Terminator franchise were the scenes of the future war battles. I liked the Resistance fighters in the rubble shooting aerial HKs, battling big tanklike terminators, and taking on endoskeleton terminators in fire fights. I liked Kyle’s flashbacks in T1 and Derek’s flashbacks in TSCC – Dungeons and Dragons and Goodbye to All That. Brave soldiers against awful awesome technology. Perhaps my all-time favorite part was from the Universal Studios bit called T2 3-D, not so much for the cool multimedia presentation but rather for the setting and the story. Somehow, T4 missed the mark for me. The closest I felt to it in T4 was the scene fighting the T-600 who shot its own foot off with a minigun to free itself to pursue Marcus. Maybe not everyone likes this aspect as much as I do, but I would like to see more. I also find the time travel aspect very interesting. It has great potential. I would like to see an entire cycle of time travel, not just the destination end, like Arnie and Kyle arriving in T1, the T-1000 and Uncle Bob arriving in T2, and Cromartie and Cameron fighting it out in TSCC. It would be nice to see a running battle in the future and follow it through TDE jumps to the past and maybe see the effects of the jumpers actions on the resulting future. Finally, the infiltrator aspect of skinning terminators is cool. We don’t know who is metal and who isn’t. The movie Screamers used this to great effect, too. Even on the wiki, I remember having read posts speculating that Jesse and Chola were infiltrators, metal.

A question...in Allison from Palmdale, Sarah told Kasey that she gave birth to John in the forest with only a bottle of dark rum. But why is there a C-section scar on her that was identified by Winston in Some must watch while some must sleep? Unless she was cut open while she was sober? That sounds brutal...

Read this on Sci Fi Wire, I feel pretty bad for Joss Whedon. I have never watched the show out of respect for TSCC but Joss is very creative and I have enjoyed many of his shows and writings from comics ect in the past and have respect for the man. But this is not good news for Dollhouse at all. Here is the link and I'll copy and paste the clip for you to read here if you don't feel like heading on over to the site's page:
http://scifiwire.com/2009/09/dollhouse-death-watch-rat.php Dollhouse death watch: Ratings worse than ever Joss Whedon's sci-fi Dollhouse premiered Friday, and the news isn't good: Overnight ratings were the worst in the show's history. Translated: If you like it, you'd better watch it while you can. The half-hour numbers for Dollhouse among adults 18-49 and 18-34, according to TV by the Numbers (rating/share, audience): 9-9:30 p.m.: 1.0, 1.0, 2.698 million 9:30-10 p.m.: 1.0, 1.0 2.427 million So how bad was it? Here's a roundup of analysis: "barely registered with live viewers" --TV Wrap "The show's lowest-ever audience last night" --Digital Spy "Dollhouse went right back to where it left off: as the lowest-rated show on a major broadcast network" --The Live Feed "The second season launch of Dollhouse actually [lost] viewers from Brothers, plummeting to its lowest ratings to date" --HitFix It's kind of too bad. We like Whedon and we like what he's doing with the show: deepening the mythology, introducing some complex character interactions and muddling the motives of his heroes in ways that you don't usually see in prime-time drama. Maybe that's the problem? Dollhouse airs Fridays at 9 p.m., at least for the time being. What did you think of the season-two premiere if you saw it?
